She won so to those critics:F*ck them. So what she did a victory dance I saw it myself and it is all good. POJ,some of those people are either just jealous,hateful,or both. To the community who picked on Gabby's hair are very ignorant to the extreame. Some White atheletes do the same. The critics should check themselves at the mirror.

Thanks for posting. This shit was such a non story, I don't get why they published it and to be fair it wasn't black people it was black WOMEN saying dumb shit like that, ghetto ones at that.
I don't doubt there are non black athletes who deal with shit too but it seems like we get it most when we actually achieve shit. The same way they can't get enough of criticizing black football players for dancing in the in zone after a touch down. Who the fuck cares I wish they'd stop treating everything like a damn UN meeting.

I noticed on the USAToday site that a BW commented saying this from her Facebook account. A white male from Texas had a response back to what she said. I can't take a stance on it, so I'd like other people to say something about it before I do.

I could find other examples but the lesson is is that you know you have made it when people try to tear you down. Anyone who is sucessful is first built up by the media then torn down.

Who cares about Serena's dance, Gabby's hair or Michael Phelp's smoking pot and not taking preparations seriously? When you have the hardware you can quiet the haters with that.

In college I saw white kids that smoked every single day, ever day they were sparking up, 4:20, smoke time.

I had so many friends who would smoke when I was in their rooms. All white.

The black friends I had never smoked in the dorms but did it outside in secluded spots on campus. White kids just put a towel under the door, turned on their fan and pulled out their customized Jerry Garcia, Phish or Jim Morrison bong.

Drugs has never interested me so they never had to worry about me mooching off their supply.

Hell I had to often turn down mofos offering me a toke or bong hit.

These cats were selling weed out of the dorm rooms and shit.

I mean it was that real.

So I laugh when they start talking about weed. Step foot on a college campus and it will be an eye opener. When these small town kids leave home for college weed is like a menu option.
