I get the school is trying to protect itself from liability but this is still shitty. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/teacher-fired-domestic-violence-ex-husband-161455153.html
When I used to work in corporate security, anytime an employee has a problem with a spouse and we have to be on the lookout for the employee's spouse, we would definitely be on the lookout because situations like these put everyone on the work site in danger. We even have to keep a watchful eye for people who were terminated. This situation is like all those that I had seen years ago.
This is actually very common, and a common tactic used to GET their ex/estranged fired. IF you bring trouble to your work via your spouse, companies HATE that. And it reflects poorly on the victim in their eyes, added there is this subconscious blame, I think. Most victims however, will quit to keep their lunatic ex from causing more drama there... and yes to protect their co-workers from possible future harm.
yeah people just dont get it. u act a fool at ur partners job...they could lose it. now both are jacked up. even if u r divorced getting them fired is also hurting u
know this very well, ex loved doing this, luckily my boss understood, security guards were informed and was told if she showed up again the police would be called
