Sending a photo through the personals

    In privacy Mail, how does one send their photo with the message their sending. I want to be able to send my photo directly to a person ( in privacy mail or any other way) so I don't have to post it on the web.

    Currently, the only way to get a photo to a person through the personals -- when sending through this site -- is to send them a link to a photo of yourself, posted on a homepage, or somewhere on the web.

    I suppose you're saying that you want to be able to get your photo to the person in the first email without having to publicly post your photo on the web.

    Allowing attachments will not work because viruses can be sent and many people are leery of opening attachments.

    What we can do is to allow folks to create profiles, similar to the adult content profiles, where you'd need a password to be able to view the photo. Then in the initial email you send, you can send them a link to your ad or send them your ad #, with the password to view your photo. No one would be allowed to see your photo without the password.

    People who respond to your ad would also be able to request the password from you to be able to view your photo.

    On the browse page, the icon would display, for example -- "privacy photo" instead of "no photo."

    We can implement this if there is interest.
