Search options for personal ads

    Webmaster,

    I don't have many problems with the Forums other than the Morality Police (but I can handle them), but I do have a problem with some of the profile information included when we place a Personals ad. I believe that we should be able to include the city where we're located and not just the country and state.

    For instance, let's just say that someone lives in Sacramento, California and is interested in corresponding with another nearby Californian. But that person has no way of telling whether the person whose ad they are looking at lives near Sacramento or lives way down in San Diego, California. California is a huge state and so is Texas, Florida and Alaska.

    Also, I think that we should be able to list our exact heights. There is a big difference between being 5 feet 11 inches and being 5 feet 6 inches, but as of right now, we cannot list our exact heights. I don't know whether you're a man or a woman, but your height could be one of the determining factors as to whether a lady will give you a chance.

    That's all I got for right now, your highness. You are running a good website, a damn good website. All members here appreciate having a site devoted to ww and bm dating. Oh, one more thing: you should seriously consider what I said in my post Marketing wwbm.com

    morality police?? hardly, seems there isnt much of one here--check out the sex area, lots of things not regulated. maybe the PC police

    I've thought about the city thing and will probably do it. I actually have the code/list, but we had a problem with the test site (blew it up testing something else) and have to recreate it again. Once I test it OK there, I'll import it over. The holdup is really evaluating its effect on the layout.

    As far as the height thing, we purposely made it a little vague, as well as the weight. Some people are very conscious of their height or weight and may not post an ad if they had to get that specific. Since we're a niche site, we want to draw as large a database of white women and black men as possible. Which in turn increases everyone choices within each group.
