Seal and Heidi Klum

IMO this one really, really hurts the cause for real! Marriages period but especially hollyweird celeb marriages usually don't last worth a crap so from now on I'm not going to get hyped up about these relationships anymore.:-x

 

The mans an idiot. He has 4 children by this woman and should have fought to keep things tight. All this talk about "I hope he finds happiness" is BS. The man is near 50 years old. Does he really thing he can make a come back???

Heidi has more money then Seal, Heidi was earning more money then Seal, but he still was a millionaire. All he had to do was spend time with his children and wife...thats it. Tiger Woods, Kobe Byrant etc; I can understand, as they got married young. However Seal's been with models for years. What a MORON!

 

I never saw this one coming. I thought they were going to be a mainstay for mixed race marriages. Heidi said he has a temper which makes it irreconcilable for her. It's an ugly situation regardless. They both have talent so they will be alright but the children are a different thing. He was very hospitable about it on the Ellen Degeneres Show so he still has a deep respect for her. I don't know how she feels about him but things happen I guess. Tiger is Tiger. I have nothing to say about Kobe. He brought that on himself. Karma is a beast. Money and power is attractive to some women. If they know they want to play why bother getting married? As a celebrity, you will bring more scrutiny on yourself. They know that. It's 2012. They can't possibly be that dumb. Heidi was rich already but Vanessa will be ten times richer than what she was before she got married to Kobe. It would be different if she divorced him when he caught those sexual assault charges in Colorado but she stayed after he dropped a million dollar ring on her. In that very moment she showed the world what type of woman she is. She knew what she was getting married to and he knew the same thing. I feel no remorse for their divorce. I did want to see Heidi and Seal's marriage survive though.

 

I too wanted it to last, but he should have calmed it down. Heidi is a woman with 4 children. It wouldn't have been to hard to make it work. What possibly have been so troublesome in his life to make him get upset on a regular basis???

You're right though; like it or not, they were the poster-child for IR.

True, and a big millionaire with $15 million. (to Heidi's $70 million)...

But somehow I don't think this is about money...Heidi is one of those women who got more beautiful with age, her spirit was soaring with her success and slowly she became empowered within and some men with anger issues don't like that - It's why I think he sought her out or was drawn to her initially because she was abandoned and pregnant and vulnerable. Anger toward your spouse is masquerading insecurity/jealousy/a need to control, imo.

 

I don't think Seal is washed up. He seriously doesn't chart like he used to but he still has a good voice and sells records. I listened to his new cd on youtube the other night. I liked some of the songs. I think the whole album is remakes.

That supports my point. If he was in his 20's.....maybe. However, he is near 50, all anger issues should have been addressed by now. Plus, he is in the public spot-light. Surely he would have known any wrong doing would come out.

You mentioned "a need to control". Control of what. He had 3 children by this woman, plus adopted her daughter. She was earning her own money; a lot of the times when the black male is successful, the white woman is just the pretty girl from nowhere. Heidi is arguably the most famous model of all time.

He had it all.....literally! Sorry, but there is no excuses for him. He threw it all away.

 

That makes it even worse. He was born with a genuine, natural talent. He sold 15-20 million album in an era of MJ & AC/DC. Yet still made it.

What can he do now, date yet ANOTHER blonde? Heidi should have been his retirement/pension plan.

Plus, wasn't his daughter born 5 minutes ago? That was a 'waste' of time.

I don't think Seal is washed up at all. I just think he's pulling a 'Sting', just like the former Police bassist. He's going from modern pop/alt-electronica-lite to adult contemporary. Those guys don't make the top of the pops, but trust me, that category of music still racks up BIG sales. Just ask Yanni, John Tesh, Kenny G, Michael Bolton, Celine Dion, Sting, et al...
