Love this woman band. This song is sick and as usual they drop musick that's not out there... I've lost the use of my heart But I'm still alive Still looking for the life The endless pool on the other side It's a wild wild west I'm doing my best I'm at the borderline of my faith, I'm at the hinterland of my devotion In the frontline of this battle of mine But I'm still alive I'm a soldier of love. Every day and night I'm soldier of love All the days of my life I've been torn up inside (oh!) I've been left behind (oh!) So I ride I have the will to survive In the wild wild west, Trying my hardest Doing my best To stay alive I am love's soldier! I wait for the sound (oooh oohhh) I know that love will come (that love will come) Turn it all around I'm a soldier of love (soldier of love) Every day and night I'm a soldier of love All the days of my life I am lost but I don't doubt (oh!) So I ride I have the will to survive In the wild wild west, Trying my hardest Doing my best To stay alive I am love's soldier! I wait for the sound I know that love will come I know that love will come Turn it all around I'm a soldier of love I'm a soldier Still waiting for love to come Turn it all around (4x) I'm a soldier of love I'm a soldier Still waiting for love to come Turn it all around (3x) Still waiting for love to come
He told me sweet lies of sweet love, Heavy with the burden of the truth, And he spoke of his dreams Broken by the burden Broken by the burden of his youth Fourteen years he said I couldn't look into the sun She saw him laying at the end of my gun Hungrey for life And thirsty for the distant river I remember his hands And the way the mountains looked The light shot diamonds from his eyes Hungry for life And thirsty for the distant river Like the scar of age Written all over my face The war is still raging inside of me I still feel the chill As i reveal my shame to you I wear it like a tattoo I wear it like a tattoo I wear it like a tattoo
There is a woman in somalia Scraping for pearls on the roadside There's a force stronger than nature Keeps her will alive That's how she's dying She's dying to survive Don't know what she's made of I would like to be that brave She cries to the heaven above There is a stone in my heart She lives a life she didn't choose And it hurts like brand-new shoes Hurts like brand-new shoes There is a woman in somalia The sun gives her no mercy The same sky we lay under Burns her to the bone Long as afternoon shadows It's gonna take her to get home Each grain carefully wrapped up Pearls for her little girl Hallelujah Hallelujah She cries to the heaven above There is a stone in my heart She lives a life she didn't choose And it hurts like brand-new shoes... Haunt me In my dreams If you please You're breath is with me now and always It's like a breeze So should you ever doubt me If it's help that you need Never dare to doubt me And if you want to sleep I'll be quiet Like an angel As quiet as your soul could be If you only knew You had a friend like me So should you ever doubt me If it's help that you need Never dare to doubt me
Sade is impossibly talented, original, and breathtakingly beautiful. I was fortunate enough to have front row tickets to see her once, and she is even more striking in person. Listen to how great she sounds live
Sade is my FAVORITE singer and band!!! That's why I chose the screen name "diamondlife" I saw her last two concerts for the Love Deluxe and Lover's Rock tours in Japan in 1993 and in Indianapolis in 2001.
With the way they release material more likely than not this may be their last release, I will make certain to see them in concert before they vanish into private life for good. It's somewhat bittersweet thinking about that because they are one of the last great bands. 5 releases in 25 years (not counting the live release), 50M sold. As I read somewhere Sade is the soundtrack to our lives and whenever they return they are dearly missed. Think about this for minute, their last release was in 2000 before 9/11. Life is dramatically different these days yet Sade remains relevant and their musick is just as dynamic as their 1st 1984 single, Your Love Is King...
sade is my muse when it comes to sensuality , romance, heartache and pure female animalistic sex appeal.
Thank goodness for Sade coming back. I'll look forward to hearing her new music. I saw her in concert twice, she certainly didn't disappoint. It's not only her, the group is pretty good too.
