Nancy Grace: “If A Black Girl Pulled A Lindsay Lohan, She Would Be Arrested And Dragged On The Ground”

    http://hater site.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/nancy_grace.jpg?w=600
Lindsay Lohan’s sticky fingers were caught on tape shop-lifting a $2500 necklace. Since the arrest, she has posted bail until her next scheduled court date and was released with a “STERN” warning from the judge. In a recent interview, Nancy Graces admits that Lindsay is getting special treatment because she’s white a celebrity…
    Do You Agree or Disagree???
“She’s on video! She goes in the store without the necklace. She comes out with the necklace. I don’t know about you, but when I make a return, it’s directly to Target. I usually don’t send it to the LAPD!
Let’s just say you send a black girl into that same jewelry story, or an uneducated person or a poor person, they come away with a $2,500 necklace, honey, they would be thrown down on the asphalt and dragged by their feet back into the store and prosecuted!”
Lindsay Lohan has gone before the judge for this recent event and here’s are a few words of advice for Lindsay:
In her most recent brush with the California court system, actress Lindsay Lohan has eluded jail time and is a free woman this morning – but it’s far from the end of her legal troubles.
On Wednesday, Lohan received a stern warning from a judge after entering a plea in a jewelry theft case that has become the latest in a strong of legal woes for the 24-year-old actress. She pleaded not guilty to felony grand theft for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store in California.
Miss Lohan, let me just tell you a couple things, so we have no misunderstandings,” said Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith L. Schwartz. “You need to follow the laws just like everybody else. Look around this room. Everybody needs to follow the law. You’re no different than anyone else, so please don’t push your luck.”
Lohan said, “Yes, sir,” when Schwartz asked if she understood him.
Schwartz continued Lohan’s felony grand theft hearing to Feb. 23 and set bail at $40,000 — $20,000 each for the felony charge and for violation of her probation stemming from her 2007 DUI case.
So, is this going to get swept under the rug like the Winona Ryder incident???

Disagree... If the black girl held the same status and fame as Lindsey...

Damn she fell off hard, I don't think she'll ever recover.

If the person was a minority and not a celebrity, she would be arrested and dragged down to the ground. But a minority with celebrity status, she would get fined most likely. But repeated offenses = jail.

    What's with this "minority" crap????

Those minorities have rights your Black ass could only dream of having.

If they're in a higher class, then yes they have special privileges (not the same as rights).

In a Country stratified by race:

    White is right.
    Yellow is mellow
    Brown stick around
    Black get to the back

    Status in America is RACE.

You're undermining class too, kiddo. If this were a society where everyone has the same income, yet still hold discrimination based on skin color, then yes your point would be valid 100%. But race is injected into the human psyche through broken ideas, including the belief in a higher power. You're a guilty example of that, my friend.

Oh yeah then why did Lil Kim do a full year for pursary but a chick Lizzy Grubman actually runs over people and gets a few months. The justice system is slanted celebrity or not. Let's not get carried away now.

I agree, Andrae. Friggin' Lindsey Lohan is caught stealing on video after all of the shit she's done in the past two years, and she gets a STERN warning from the judge? Are you kidding me?! That's ridiculous.

Did you forget about when Dante Stallworth struck and killed a pedistrian while intoxicated and got off very lightly.

Stallworth was charged with DUI and second degree manslaughter on April 1, 2009; he surrendered to police on April 2, 2009, and was released on $200,000 bail.[14] He pled guilty, and received a sentence of 30 days in jail, plus 1,000 hours of community service, 2 years of house arrest, and 8 years probation.[15] He has also received a life-time suspension of his Florida state driver's license.[16]

On July 10, 2009, Stallworth was released from jail after serving 24 days of a 30-day sentence.

If you mean perjury, she was guilty of 3 counts and one of conspiracy. Sentencing guidelines for her crime is 20yrs, max. A top celebrity attorney predicted she'd probably get only 8. Her Judge decided to impose a non-guideline sentence and gave her ...a year and a day. She did ten months.

Now why would you compare Kim's crime to Gruman's? Two polar op crimes. Gruman's max sentencing g/l is 8yrs. Do you think next time you can give me similar crimes? Not to mention, Lil Kim admitted guilt with;"I take complete responsibility for my actions. I testified falsely to the grand jury and during the trial. I know it was wrong."
A drunk Gruman said; "it was an accident".

If we use your example to illustrate that Gruman (a celeb publicist and daughter of a famous entertainment lawyer) got off lightly because of race, remember, one person in the (mostly white) injured party claimed she screamed "Fuck you, White trash!" before plowing into them.

Which lends to the theory that class is the issue too, not just race.
