Imagine you're a video gamer and you actually post "Let's Play" walkthroughs on video viewing websites. And suddenly, a bill like this could kill any chances of it if you're planning on making one in the near future. First, let's go through what "Let's Plays" are...

Let's Plays are essentially people uploading video game walkthroughs for people to view. More so, they are there to build interest for others to buy the game and experience them first hand...also share ways on how to complete certain goals and obstacles. And unlike walkthroughts, Let's Plays usually have the person speak while playing the game. This keep the viewing, more or less, entertaining as they deliver their own commentary.

With S. 978, it would be illegal to upload these videos in the future. Their justification is to prevent further piracy, especially for big companies like Capcom, Square-Enix, and other gaming software makers.

Of course...this is one example of the overall bill.

Any thoughts or comments in the matter at hand?
