Don't count him out. Had you seen the clip on what happened to Keith Obermann when he worked there?

This is an excellent turn of events!!! If found guilty I hope the sentence is truly "fair and balanced."

Hear that? That's the sound of Fox Noise employees xeroxing their resume's to send out.

The fallout is far from over. The latest high profile casualty was a head of police. This will remain a story of interest for some time.

The top cop has just resigned and Murdoch's former red haired assistant was arrested.

Rebekah Brooks, the ginger in question, was bailed after 12 hours in custody. Apparently, she had made arrangements to come in for her arrest 2 days ago, prior to her resignation heading up News International.

    CNN reports

The British police officer who ruled two years ago that there was no reason to reopen an investigation into phone hacking by journalists resigned Monday, the Metropolitan Police announced.
Assistant Commissioner John Yates - who has since called his decision on the probe "crap" - is the second top member of London police to resign over the scandal plaguing Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. Metropolitan Police Commissioner Paul Stephenson quit Sunday.
Stephenson stressed that he had behaved ethically, but said he decided to resign because increased scrutiny connected to the case would burden his department and detract from its accomplishments.

    This^^^^^!!

If we were talking about a whistle blower from an organized crime family who later was found dead, it would obviously be viewed as a homicide.

But since Murdoch Inc. is a 'respectable':smt119 media conglomerate, it's a bridge too far for those talking heads in the media to connect the dots.

    The reason he was murdered??

Because IMO hellspawn Rupert authorized his media companies in the U.S. to hack the computers, cell phones, etc. of its political and celebrity targets, which is I believe a FEDERAL crime.

If the whistleblower really told the authorities the extremes Rupert was willing to go for the 'big story' and smear his enemies, old man Murdoch could have been facing charges that could have ended up with his dying in prison.

Wouldn't it be a bitch if at the end of this scandal, Fox News was taken off the air!!?

    My little dream one day.:smt033

I doubt it since they are "independent" from the company.

Where Murdoch is concerned there is something dodgy with bent cops doing his bidding.

Yeah, and the police commissioner who resigned didn't know or do anything, either.
