this is why i'm happy for the guy.. he has people from all different backgrounds, on board and hoping that he becomes president.. I said this before, in another thread, but who would have ever thought that a man of color, would garner so much "love" from so many different types of people.. history in the making brothas...history in the making... obama is starting to remind me of Dr King in some ways..the way he is transcending boundaries and really reaching people, regardless of the obvious fact that he's "black." he also reminds me of dr king, because I think that if any black man had a chance at becoming president, it would have been him, if he wasn't assasinated so early on.. people flocked to dr king..he was definitely a true leader and if he becomes president, i'll personally rub it in the face of all of the naysayers, who said that we would never see a black first family, in the white house
I hope he becomes President, too. I have to say that being from IL, I didn't vote for him for Senator, but I voted for him in the primary. I have re-evaluated so much in my life since that election. I'm excited for what he could bring for this country. Fingers crossed he wins TX and OH!
I haven't missed an election since I was 18. But, will it be Obama that I vote for? Hmm...I don't know... I just hope it IS Obama that's on that ticket. But, if his running mate is Hillary, well, I may actually skip voting altogether at that point.
what exactly is wrong with hillary riding shotgun? who would you rather see? I predict Obama/Edwards '08.. or.. Obama/Schwartzneggar  The ruling class of this country will be overran by people who are popular and/or former entertainers.... denzel washington will run for office...mark my words
Nah, it'll be either of the four, that is assuming Obama wins the nomination: Obama/Sebelius - For those that don't know, she's the Governor of Kansas Obama/Bloomberg Obama/Nunn - Sam Nunn was a former Senator from Georgia Obama/Bayh
All I'll say is she wants the Presidency too badly for that. And if she decides that she'll take the 2nd banana spot, if he offers it to her, he best sleep with one eye open... I actually haven't thought about who I would like to see as his running mate. I'm just concentrating on him getting the nomination first.
