Robert Griffin III is trying to rebuild his football career in Cleveland, while starting a new chapter in his life as well.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Griffin has separated from his wife and is in the process of filing for divorce.

He’s far from the first quarterback to go down this road, after the Seahawks announced that Russell Wilson had filed for divorce in 2014.

Many more people do the same thing outside the glare that comes with being an NFL quarterback, and the attention that follows a difficult decision.

Looks like he's ready to brush this aside and quickly move on. He was also the initiator and not his fiance. In most of these relationships, the woman usually wants out first before the man does. To me, it seemed very sudden because they haven't been in the news often before. Makes you wonder if relationships with women at all have any real, intrinsic value or are both genders just wasting their time and money?
 
That wasn't surprising. I don't know why these guys at the height of their careers get married.You will have women throwing themselves at you.They piss me off.
 
Nobody has any business getting married at that age these days irrespective of whether or not they are pro athletes.
