Claudia Hidic: Aspiring actress-turned-thief who died in crossfire while burglarizing a house

A Texas teen who was shot to death last month was a victim of her own crime: a robbery gone wrong. Claudia Hidic, 17, was shot dead near the back door of a man's home in Fort Worth on June 28, KCEN-TV reported. Her death was ruled a homicide. It was later found that she and two alleged accomplices -- Curtis Fortenberry and Terrance Crumley, both 21 -- were trying to rob a home with at least five occupants, the New York Daily News reported. Gunfire erupted, and Hidic, the suspected mastermind of the plot, was killed. She was found face-down with a gunshot wound to the head.

What's with all the conflicting stories from the homeowner to the accomplices? Mastermind? She ends up dead with a bullet in her head by accident? Dead men tell no tales, I guess. :smt102

TrUe conflicitng stories but the bottom line is they broke into someones house.
Trying to take something that wasnt theirs, who knows what harm they were planning. Be you any color, male or female. And you do a home invasion, you put yourself in a position to be shot or killed.
I have a family and a grandson living here with me, and if anyone thinks for one minute that i would not do the same thing, they are sadly mistaken.
As much as we. Would like to think that there is no one out there to hurt you rob from you, that is flat not true. Stupid hurts, and stupid can get you dead!!!

My daughter is a nurse and works at night, she carries, momma carries, i carry daily,
Because i want to come home to me

Can't argue with you there. I'd do the same as you. But the homeowner sold drugs. Circumstances are a tad different. One person says she pretended to be a hostage, someone else said she was there to buy drugs, another said there to rob them, and another said to collect money stolen from her. :smt017

    Hmmm......
