2016, the Grim Reaper was not fooling around with famous folks.

I remember her as the first woman who had an action hero role I have seen.

I remember listening to a classical music piece performed by a brass band. The New York Brass Ensemble, I think. They performed a piece about a funeral procession of a princess who had died. It was beautiful as it was somber. If I ever hear it again, I will have Carrie Fisher/Princess Leia Organa in mind. I remember after seeing Star Wars: A New Hope, I fell in love with her(among many other female celebrity crushes back then). My sister liked her hairstyle. I remember seeing her on Saturday Night Live doing a parody of a musical while dressed as Leia, but in a bathing suit based off her costume. It was the first time I heard Carrie sing. Then in 1982, I saw her in the comedy/ fantasy Under The Rainbow. Then she did a short comedy on Cinemax called From Here To Maternity with Lauren Hutton, Arleen Sorkin and Richard Simmons.

I could go on and on about Carrie. She had done, been through and seen a lot.

Now she is in a better place. Far, far away...

    May she Rest In Peace.

She was a talented human being who died young. Ms.Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds would be sorely missed.
