   It's time for everyone in this country to let that go. That happened nearly a DECADE ago. Unless you're flippin' Doc Brown with your DeLorean, history is NOT changing. Right or wrong it's done. It's time to MOVE FORWARD not stay behind in "shouldas, wouldas, and couldas". Seriously.
You sound like a Republican. If I'm supposed to "get over" 2000, then I guess I'm supposed to "get over" American history, 'cause the election of 2000 was an event that happened. Whether you like it or not. And if I want to reference the event, I will. And I am moving forward with my vote for Obama. Let's hope America as a whole (or a 51% majority) decides to move forward on Nov. 4th, 2008. Seriously.
I think you might be wrong on this one. You forgot about the flux-capacitor to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity in order to power the DeLorean for time-travel.
Now the Republicans are trying to block the advances of Black people by getting rid of Affirmative Action and other programs. The Civil Rights Commission is now a joke since the people does not want to enforce the law on Civil Rights for Blacks.
No, I'm not a Republican. I'm an Independent. I'm free to vote for whomever I see fit. But, let's get philosophical for a moment, karma. Perhaps Al Gore didn't win the 2000 Presidential election because he wasn't meant to. Think about what he has done since he lost the election. He has singlehandedly made environmentalism "cool". He used his status and his loss to promote something that shouldn't just be a democratic issue, but should be a bipartisan issue. Thanks to Al Gore, we're all "going green". He was up for a Nobel Prize for "An Inconvenient Truth". Look at all he has accomplished since losing that election. In fact, I don't think he lost at all. In my opinion, he wouldn't have been able to accomplish what he did were he stuck in the quagmire of the first post-9/11 presidency. Just my 2 cents.
