WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A Westchester County police officer who fatally shot a Pace University football player was suing a liquor store he claims sold alcohol to the student, making him drunk and causing the altercation, The Journal News reported Tuesday. Pleasantville, N.Y., officer Aaron Hess claims the store is responsible for the injuries he suffered during the incident, which culminated in Hess being hit by a car and subsequently shooting its 20-year-old occupant, Danroy Henry Jr. http://www.poconorecord.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20110628/NEWS90/110629708/-1/NEWS01
Hey Mr. Fan and GQ, the only reason that I know is because I was dating DJ's uncle I know his parents, and knew him. I am still friendly with them, and it is heartbreaking to see a lovely family destroyed by senseless ploice violence and to see a young man's reputation smeared, and to have seen Officer Hess get rewarded(he was chosen Officer of the Year) after DJ's death. And now the son of a bitch is trying to sue the fucking liquor store, not because IF and that is a BIG if DJ was drunk to prevent future occurance, but for HIS pain and suffering. FUCK that. He has made out scott free.
@ Mr. Fan, you live two towns over from Mount Pleasant? God help you as a black man....be careful my friend.....My aunt and uncle who are like my parents live in Poughkeepsie.
Funny that you say that. One of my best friends got jumped when we were 16 I got away and he didn't and they nearly beat him to death the whole time asking him" where's your nigger friend" (he was white if you didn't pick up on that) But to be fair that's the only overt racist shit I've dealth with outside of the occasional parents of gfs not wanting them to date me. But looking back I was just a safe way for a lot of those girls to rebel against their parents. Its also more of a class thing too since as you know that whoe Mt. Pleasant Pleasantville Briarcliff area is very affluent and the white plains area which im from is more working class/upper middle class.
Overt racism is NOT suppose to exist in the Northeast, yeah right. My uncle use to own a sub shop in White Plains.
This was in the 70s. He is now a music teacher and my aunt works for Bayer. Definatley need 2 incomes in your neck of the woods.
Tell me about it. They want 1000 a month for ghetto areas in Yonkers now. Fricking sad. I gotta move. For various reasons.
Lol, reminds me of all the yuppies running to Brooklyn to escape the outrageous prices in Manhattan, only further driving up the real estate prices in Brooklyn in turn.
