    Hi people,
in a couple of weeks there will be a big Reggae festival not far from me. I'm not a big fan of reggae but I don't even hate it :).
I want to go there for the big bazar etc, but I'd like to know if some of you can tell me something about the artists that will partecipate (http://www.rototomsunsplash.com/index.php?aid=2439) I can't search on youtube every single artist since they are a lot, but maybe some of you know some of them and can tell me if they are worth the ticket?

Besides an italian group, I just know BeenieMan.

    Thanks in advance :D.

    Thanks, girls.
It's the biggest european reggae festival.
Robina would go crazy there, lol.

I would like to know the ones that make sounds similar to hip hop... I'll have to do a research...

    Reggae has d/t style
old style-like Bob Marley, dance hall style, reggaton (spanish and english version). It is pretty good, it will grow on you, and the crowd are very cool.

Reggaeton isn't part of raggae, it's music from puertorico etc...

and i tried to understand what dancehall is but i didn't get an idea on youtube.

I think it is safe to say that you will get some cross over between Reggae and Hip Hop on that huge roster on your festival..
or so I would like to think anyhow:)

The good thing about Reggae is theres so many different types. My favorite style is roots reggae or dub. Like Augustus Pablo
