I 've been watching the real world as of late a show I always thought was racist because they always have the token black guy on there, but this time they have two brothas on there with one white guy that is straight and one white guy that is gay with three hot whitegirls.....Now we on here would think that is automatic for at least one of the brothas to get some, but not the case as the one and only (straight) white guy on there was the one who slept with one of the
whitegirls and made out with the other out of the three. And the third ww just so happens not to be attracted to none of the guys, and as for the two brothas all the ww on the show see them as just friends. And as I began to remember this show I have counted 10 times where the brotha is just the friend.

That got me thinking again. Either real world is racist like I said before
and knew that they were going to add more than one brotha so they purposely went out got whitegirls that aren't attracted to brothas or the ratio is right and that is 9 out of 10 whitegirls will see black guys like all girls see gay guys, as just a best friend.

Now Im not going to bash any of the women on here Im just trying to figure out which is true so I need the ww on here to answer this. I hope the fellas if they are reading this to get any ww attention on here to answer these questions truthfully please like I said Im just trying to figure out which is true and that is do"real world" does these things on purpose or is it that more american ww see brothas as a friend. Because more american bm do date and marry ww from other countries.

    Questions:
Before you became attracted to bm did you seen us as just friends?
How many black male friends did you have?

    And for the brothas:
Do you know any ww who only have brothas as friends?
Or prefer it to be that way(Just friends)?

Relax and stop making everything into racism.

Jena(the former raiderette) was in a relationship with a black man a few months before the show. In the newest episode she talks about how Tyrie(the big black male) reminds her so much of her last bf.

Brooke, the tall chick with the dark hair also mentioned that she had a boyfriend of another race before.

Colie actually did mention that she wasnt attracted to Stephen or Tyrie, but did nothing to show that she was racist or against interracial relationships. I have no clue how you would come to the conclusion that she was against dating black men simply because she wasnt attracted to the two available ones (really only) in the house.

Stephen said on the first episode that he is already in a happy relationship, thus eliminating him from the equation.

Tyrie also acts like a goon almost every other episode. (I can go through tons of examples of this) I cant understand why any sensible woman would be overly attracted to him because of the way he acts.

Did it ever cross your mind that maybe the girls just werent attracted to the two blacks guys because they didnt have chemistry personality wise?

I hate when people turn everything into a huge racial conspiracy when there is no solid evidence backing it.

And to answer your question, yes I have had friends that were white girls that didnt or never have dated black guys and I have had ones that do and actually have ended up dating me.

All people are different, reguardless of race and not everything is a racial conspiracy against the black man.

You speak of there only usually being one token black person on the real world. Well isnt that representative of that black population in America(at only 12%) They choose randomly.

It wouldnt be porportionate or fair for them to run out and put several black people on the real world when black people only represent 12% of the total Us Population to begin with.

:? Man people just need to relax all the way around. KG was just posing some questions concerning the show! I didn't get the impression that he or any other black man would or should be devastated if these chicks on this show DON'T have a MANDINGO FETISH or something. After the show they'll all be forgotten about pretty much anyway and it'll be time for a new set of FREAKS & AZZHOLES:!: :p

I do not even watch Real World but i have heard some not-so-flattering things about the show. But either way, it's just a freaking show. Wee wee wee, some white girls do not like black guys!!! Big deal. If you are so shallow as to let the opinions of three girls appear to be the same as every white woman in America, you got some issues, brah.

Thank You! Noble. GEEZ! Some people just can't read. I never once accused ww who don't date bm of being racist nor any of them "real world" girls I was simply just trying to get a ratio on bm & ww being friends in this country more than being intimate because the history of the damn show always turn the brotha into either the ABM(angry black man) or the white female roommates best friend. And I was simply wanting to know if the show set that up on purpose. And scott1618 could be blind all he wants
but it seems to me that he is one of them people that think racism doesn't exist anymore judging by the way he was talking and the way he read my post. I mean damn where did he get those analyst from about my post.

Now back to my research could anybody on here please
just answer the questions once again. Thats all Im asking.
Research along with kid rasta is one of our hobbies dude damn.

And by the way do ya'll see what I just saw in scott1618's post

It wouldn't be fair to put more black on a show that holds 7 people.
He don't sound right. We represent around 12% but census percentages are actually high when it comes to a country and last time I check there
were either close to a hundred million or over 100 million blacks in this country so he is either dumb and can't count percentages or a racist for coming on here saying that. He sounds like he supports tokenism. We are low percentagewise, not by general numbers. So with them already having two brothas on there any of the brothas here could of been the third.

Scott1618 is not talking like he is even a african american supporter let alone an interracial supporter. I think I just busted another one somebody
please read his last post and tell me that don't sound like a supporter in
tokenism and read his whole post and tell me do that sound like a brotha
that knows whats going on or not. Or the possiblity not a brotha at all.

No there arent 100 million black people in America. The total population is 300 million. 100 million would equal greater than 33% of the population. Simple math. The percentage is 12.8%.

No I am not a supporter of tokenism. Im a supporter of common sense though. There arent as many black people as white people or even latin population in America so why would it be logical to put more than a few black people on the show? We do not deserve to recieve some sort of special treatment. We are human like everyone else.

Dont get offened just because my original post proved everything you took as racism as incorrect. Also how smart are you trying to stereotype all white woman in the same category of " 9 times out of ten putting black guys in the friend category." Thats an outlandish question to even ask. Sorry if that always happens to you bro. I havent really had that problem.

Is questioning whether im black or not and providing some incorrect statistics the best argument you have?

Stop pulling the race card every 5 minutes and taking every little thing you see on tv as a sign of racism.

 Okay hopefully the back & forth is over with so now I'll answer the question which is...
Yes I have coworkers and other "friends" that are white females who are into black males but they aren't exclusive to only black male or black people friendships.

If these girls don't want BM or aren't interested in the BM that are on the show.....that's fine......but one would figure that being in close proximity to someone that you find charming and reasonably attractive would lead to something other than friendship......but hey everyone has their own tastes so 8)

Hey Kenny, i happen to be a big fan of the real world series. It's one of the few shows that i do watch whenever i get the chance. I also thought it was kinda weird to finally see two black guys on there at the same time. That has to be a real world first. Anyway, as far as the girls liking the straight white guy over the two black guys, i don't think it has anything to do about race, but moreso about which guys in the house are actually somewhat attractive you know. I'm a guy, and of course i'm very sure about my sexuality, but even i can see that those aren't the most attractive black guys that could have been cast. One is a loud mouth, and the other one is sort of a dork/nerd or something. He doesn't even seem to show any interest in the opposite sex whatsoever from what i can see. Oh well, i just thought i'd put my two cents in on this. Carry on.

What! I don't know where you heard that. From what I've read the number of African-Americans is approximately 35 million.

    I said somewhere close to.
35 Million is wrong because back in 2000 I remember them putting it up on
the national news and last time itwas checked it was 75 Million. ITS Hard
    to find the census now.

There you go again with the we don't deserve and it wouldn't be fair.
So I guess you are not a big fan of all black shows and movies and the BET network.

Brotha it is the quantity of us it is the quality inside the quantity.
Put it like this: 5 white guys and 5 black guys go for a highly corporated job where they are hiring 5 workers and they pick 4 white guys 1 black guy. And unlike the usual where the brotha doesn't say anything lets say he does and ask why they pick only one black guy and there response is "We can't put too many blacks on this job because you are low in population it wouldn't be fair to us white guys."

Now tell me where is the common sense at?
And remeber that this is what you implied.

Does anybody agree with what he is saying and implying?

In terms of black population, i've heard pretty much the same stats he's posted here. (Around 12 percent.)

As far as the logic of more BM being on the Real World being somehow "unfair" because of lower overall population- I do NOT agree.
