While I find it rather ridiculous...I suppose it's possible that there are some out there who are in some way sending some sort of subliminal messaging through dress. And the idea of matching clothing color to eye color that you attract too.......I'm really surprised by that thought.

I just really think that generally speaking, women tend to wear black clothing. As other's have said - its slimming, goes with anything, etc. I think if you take a look at general dating sites you are going to find lots of women in black.

I wear a lot of black clothing and it certainly is not about trying to signal anyone. I just tend to dress classically and I'm not trendy and it's about what looks good on me and what I feel good in.

I've been known to wear charcoal grey on occasion...definitely has nothing to do with hoping for men with the same eye color!

I can't imagine doing my hair in a particular way or wearing specific jewelry or clothing to try to signal to a man. Maybe that has a bit to do with age and maturity though.

How you tell if someone is interested is through eye contact, smiling...how she responds to you. You need to be able to tune into such things.

 

I always wanted to wear my hair in corn rows, but it is very thin so I think it might look stupid. As for jewelry, I'm not a very flashy person--i'm very plain, I hardly ever wear makeup. But I do love jewelry, and i have some necklaces and bracelets and such from different cultures.

 

hereiam... i think that someone already said this but you can tell if a woman is interested if she makes eye contact from across the room a couple times. Cause, let's face it, if you make eye contact with her more that once (oops just an accidental glance) to 2, 3 times.. she is looking at ya and there is a reason. Check your teeth, no toilet paper on your shoe, fly zipped.. check check check... go getta!

Then if you are talking and she smiles a bit, looks at you from under her lashes, touches her hair... touches you in anyway other than a slap to the face she likes you.

All the rules of attraction apply, she isn't gonna be wearing a sign says "black men need only apply!" :lol:

All of these were great comments! And thanks ladies for giving me quot "A help and hand." I've really learned more about what attracts women to men in general, as well as our subject (WW to BM). Personally, I wear nice clothing all of the time. For one, my job requires taking a great interest in my dress attire. I'm a computer technician, HTML developer and consultant; therefore, I tend to attract women that are professionally presentable. don't think of it that way, as in colors of clothing to attract-cheapest attraction. In my opinion, i think women generally wears clothing of colors that makes them feel comfortable, sexy and appealing.
