Stunning and simply ridiculous! (All I can think too is thank GOD Storage Wars' Dave "yuuup" ass didn't find it. Now Jarrod and Brandi, I wouldnt have minded...And the endearing Barry Weiss, I would have loved if he had found it after all the junk he haphazardly piles through.)
Comic book collectors, hell ALL collectors who pay 6+ figures to buy something of only esoteric value, are CRAZY!!!!lol I used to think stuff like this was cool, comic books being 'worth' money. Until l realized they weren't. It's not like the comic book is a 1000 years old. It came out during WWII. Just silliness. The uber rich live in their own universe.
If you made 100 mill this year and already have 5 bill whats 2 mill on a comic book? It's like a movie ticket for us.
What I can't conceive is the same person would scream bloody murder if he was asked to donate that money to feed some people. We live in a crazy world my friend. Like you said the rich truly live in their own universe.

Wow! I have about 400 comics collected since the 80s. Modesty Blaise, Spirit, Heavy Metal etc. Wonder if its worth anything... lol (I have kept them in immaculate shape). About 3 bucks I guess.
