Kam recalls his childhood before everyone around him got into gangs and LA changed for the worse.

Paris talks about how there so much violence in his city. One line talks about how he used to be sad when anyone got killed, but now he's just glad if he didn't know them. Love this track, and the Gap Band sample.

I don't want to derail or to fight, but to me that song always sounded like a shaming technique. It's propaganda (in my *very* humble opinion), complete with "I don't like this clinic, Mama" and "hopefully you'll make the right decision" crap in it. I can see that if you think abortion is murder, that's a positive song, but to someone on the other side of things, it's the equivalent of listening to John Ashcroft sing "Let the Eagles Soar." Even if the song was any good, it would still make me want to throw up. Basically, to me it is not positive because it insults every woman I know of who has considered or gone through with an abortion by suggesting they committed murder (as if they answered "No" to the title question).

Personally I find sex & drugs more positive ;)

I completely agree with you about how much positive hip hop there is out there.
