Rank the following cities for IR dating!

As much as I hate to admit it - in this case DK is right. LOL - there is a difference - in general

 

There's probably a reason the cities in the poll were chosen, but I think the poll might have been more informative if we were asked to gauge the cities we've lived or live in for IR dating.

 

I guess the thousandth time is the trick lol

 

I thought I put the link with the quoted part fron the poll. Will need to try to re-find it. The source said the poll was conducted by an internet magazine and interviewed 500,000 people.

I think polls of course are subjective. A person can have a completely different experience than the polls will suggest. If you manage to hang out in the right spots and meet the right people even say Birmingham AL could be a "hot spot" for you. It is what you make of it. :smt102

 

Then Minnesota would most certainly not be mentioned in the top 10.

 

I think my biggest accomplishment is being 32 with no illegitimate kids that I know of.

 

In this day and age, that is an accomplishment!

NYC is really going as Yrma said...but I can't give first hand account obviously...

 

NYC was good to me and i saw a ton of couples walking around

 

I've never dated in those cities, but I have in some others and I have to say L.A. is the most accepting.

 

Denver (where I live) is holding down fort.

Seattle is up there too.

(not on the list but) I found in Toronto and LA, they are pretty cosmo about this.

Can't really say much for the others.

 

I'm seeing brothers with Asian and Latin women in L.A.; wouldn't be shocked to see black women make a comeback in the near future.

 

I think I went to the wrong part of Toronto then :lol: .

 

Mississauga, Scarborough, Eglington West are safe bets for IR in Toronto.

 

New York is the best hands down. Id say the IR Scene is great in LA if your an asian women. LA has a lot of subtle racism and from the cops not so subtle at all. The plus side though is LA attracts a lot of tourists/foreigners who are interested in the IR scene. But by and large LA is a super segregated place and the local whites wanna keep it that way.My advice is if your looking for the interracial scene look for tourists.

 

My ex is Asian and from LA, I defintely agree with this. Saw a lot of the aforementioned when I went out there.

 

You know what NY is pretty awesome in terms of IR dating and I don't think people would get that from all the complaining I do about the dating scene but what makes NY so annoying is how expensive everything is. To have an effective and prosperous dating like you gotta be pulling down 60k minimum and that's on the conservative side of things but if money isn't a big deal there are a lot of open minded and beautiful women around here. Mainly more in the boroughs like Manhattan(lower east side) and BK more around the Williamsburgh area, pretty much all the hipster areas that have a lot of artists and young rich kids trying to find themselves.
The suburban areas are a little more difficult since you have a lot more families and women looking to settle down immediately (my biggest problem) but even certain parts of Nyack and White Plains are becoming more hipster oriented. The options are definitely out there if you have the bread for a decent lifestyle.

 

This is very dumb which tells me that you're too young to know better or not from Los Angeles.

 

TOTALLY agree w this. That made no sense at all. Not what I see and experience. And I am not even from here, just lived here for 6 years. I see bm/ww couples on the daily, even in the suburbs.. and I work all over LA - I know this city as my own pocket due to that... "unless your an Asian Woman".. que?????
