In the top 10's it is always ranked up there..........I am always surprised based on when I lived in the midwest (IL) the people from Minnesota seemed kind of straightlaced and uptight. I have never lived there so I can't say yes or no.

Off of personal experience, I wouldn't put Cleveland, Pitt or Atlanta there either.

Why doubtful? We have no idea as to the source of the information. "Women's magazines" are full of rankings, quizzes and the like, so I don't think it's any less likely than that the information being based on the attractiveness of women.

 

Because rankings rarely take looks into account and if they did it would be females not men while men would be judged on accomplishments. Keep fighting the good fight kid lol

 

Oh really? I agree it's unlikely looks are being taken into account in the first place, but you totally underestimate women in assuming we'd be interested in "accomplishments" (and how does one define that in a survey such as this in the first place) and over estimating us in assuming we don't notice attractiveness in men.

I refer you to several threads in the Ladies Room, where beautiful men are objectified on a regular basis. :-D

(And I get the giggles every time a guy young enough to be my son calls me "kid.")

 

Never said women don't appreciate looks but you can only speak for yourself unless you have actual evidence. I posted a study endorsed by PBS that had findings that women are more attracted to accomplishments than the way a man looks. Women can fall in love with the way a man treats her, for men its mostly looks all the time.
If you need the study and the specific part where they say that I am more than happy to provide it for you.
