At this stage I'm almost certain that trump's followers don't even refer to him as Mr. President anymore. It's either "benevolent leader", "his excellency" or "Your Grace".

Yup! It's so obvious. It turns out that his shooting someone and not losing a vote is definitely true amongst his clan and supporters. I've never seen a group of people excuse such a horrible person who shows his glaring incompetence on a near daily basis. I'm not a financial person, but common sense tells me that he's clearly lacking in that area as well.

She was a Bernie Bot before throwing her hat in tte ring, so not sure she will switch, however, l recall she riled one of the Dem's darlings during the debates (forget who, l think it was Kamela) which made her persona non grata.

She was a legit threat to Trump though, if she made it through.

You didn't answer the question. I was asking how she's considered a racist FOR adopting two Haitian kids. I would like clarification as to why she's being called a racist for that.

 

I want to be clear from the start that I don't think that woman and her husband are racist for adopting black children. However, there is an odd racial undertone to the plethora of white evangelicals who "rescue" black children from impoverished homelands through adoption.

 

I brought up slavery to point out what seems like a kind act doesn't mean it is.
Let me make it simple and something you can relate to as a woman. Plenty of men beat their wives but financially take care of them. Are these men still abusive even though their wives don't have to work?
Or a mother who buys her son nice shoes but beats him everyday. Buying the shoes in of itself doesn't mean you can't be cruel

No, why would I? Giving disadvantaged children a loving home to live in is great. But I would be remiss not to acknowledge that "white saviors" have a complicated history (and present) with black people, so transracial adoptions are always going to be a little more scrutinized.
