It's been stated many times that if you have existing underlying conditions, COVID19 is more fatal. I don't get why that's a complicated concept.
Any reasonable physician? At least run a dang test. I'm no physician, but... The most common smell and taste disorders are: Anosmia. Loss of sense of smell. Ageusia. Loss of sense of taste. Hyposmia. Reduced ability to smell. Hypogeusia. Reduced ability to taste sweet, sour, bitter, or salty things. In other disorders, odors, tastes, or flavors may be misread or changed... These disorders can affect quality of life. They may also be a sign of an underlying disease. Problems with taste and smell may be signs of certain health problems, such as: Obesity Diabetes High blood pressure Poor nutrition Nervous system diseases such as: Parkinson disease Alzheimer disease Multiple sclerosis What causes smell and taste disorders? Some people are born with these disorders. But most are caused by: Illness. Fsuch as cold or flu, sinus infection, and allergies. Head injury Hormone changes Dental or mouth problems Nasal polyps Exposure to certain chemicals Certain medicines Exposure to radiation therapy for head or neck cancer Cocaine snorted through the nose Cigarette smoking Symptoms can vary. Some people may not be able to smell or taste anything. Others may have a reduced ability to smell or taste certain things.. How are smell and taste disorders diagnosed? Along with a complete health history and physical exam, other tests may include: Measuring the lowest strength of a chemical that you can recognize Comparing tastes and smells of different chemicals "Scratch and sniff" tests "Sip, spit, and rinse" tests where chemicals are placed on certain parts of the tongue How are smell and taste disorders treated? Treatment will depend on your symptoms, age, and general health. It will also depend on how severe the condition is. Treatment may include: Stopping or changing medicines that help lead to the disorder Correcting the underlying health problem Surgery to remove blockages that may be causing the disorder.. What are possible complications of smell and taste disorders? Both smell and taste disorders affect quality of life. But smell disorders can be dangerous. They make you less able to notice such things as: Fire Poisonous fumes Leaking gas Spoiled food and drinks Taste disorders can affect nutrition and lead to weight loss and malnutrition. They can also harm the immune system and worsen other health conditions. https://www.cedars-sinai.org/health-library/diseases-and-conditions/s/smell-and-taste-disorders.html https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3341581/
They are itching for a teenage COVID death. They want it so bad they can smell it. (what does that say about them??) There was an article in my local newspaper a couple of weeks ago with the headline "Teen from such and such school district died of probable COVID". Probable. The article was passed along on Facebook in the group dedicated to my town and people were (naturally) freaking out. About four days later, another article stated the teen didn't actually die of COVID. But, by then, the damage was done. Was his death counted as a COVID death? I have no idea. If so, when the actual cause of death was ascertained via autopsy, was his death taken away from the COVID death counts? We will never know if he was counted.
I'll just quote myself. LOL. This is from the above article: "From the first signs of the pandemic, the Swedish Public Health Authority decided that a lockdown would be pointless. “Once you get into a lockdown, it’s difficult to get out of it,” the country’s state epidemiologist, Anders Tegnell, said. “How do you reopen? When?”" Exactly. WHEN do we reopen? We are now finding out just how difficult it is to get out of a lockdown. Which is why we need to start phasing everyone back into normal life. This can't go on indefinitely.
I'm not immuno-compromised in any way. I have no diseases, I'm healthy in that way. With that being said, I have a sh*tty immune system. It's been that way since I was a kid. I would get at least 4 colds a year. And when I get a cold, it would last a month. A week of runny noses, sneezing, and a good 3 weeks of a horrible, horrible cough. This went on for years. Into my 20s and beyond. I would always joke that I should just take up smoking so I could have a better explanation for the coughing I always did. About 10+ years ago, I couldn't take it anymore. I decided to make a lifestyle change. My lifestyle change was using Wet Ones. I would wipe my work area off every day when I got in. I would use napkins on the water cooler and hot water tap. I would not use my hands to open doors if I could avoid it. I wouldn't touch menus at restaurants, and if I did, I'd have a wipe handy or I'd go wash my hands. I used a napkin or dried out wipe when I pumped gas. I would use my pinky when paying with credit/debit cards at the store. And forget about cash, if I used it or touched it, I cleaned my hands afterwards. I wipe my steering wheel and door handle down all the time. I just became hyper aware of all of the things people touch that don't get wiped down. And I took it to an extreme, I will admit that. I have packages of Wet Ones in my car, at work, and at home. The end result? I haven't had a cold or the flu in years. My sister posted an article on Facebook about a month ago about how dirty gas pump handles are and she couldn't believe it. She never thought about it. I replied with: I haven't touched a gas pump in years. LOL. My point being: EVERYONE is now hyper aware of how dirty the world is, and they're all taking the precautions I've been taking for years. Those precautions have changed my life for the better. So, why can't we start opening up again? People will still take these precautions. It's time the world starts spinning again and those most vulnerable can still wear masks and gloves and take extra precautions.
No one wants teens to die from COVID19. No one wants anyone to die from this virus. For what purpose would teens dying from COVID19 be a good thing?? No one benefits when the world economy shuts down. You really believe that??
Ive been reading about people who are desperate to feel some kind of control so their healthy skepticism becomes more informative than peer reviewed research. They know better and we're all being naive. They ignore the logic behind a lockdown. Slow the spread so we can figure out treatment so medicine won't be overwhelmed.
No I don't believe people realistically want anyone, much less kids, to die ever. But, metaphorically, it makes for good headlines and keeps people compliant. Like they say: never let a good crisis go to waste.
@Bliss I haven't been able to stop chuckling all week at the hypocrisy of Dems & media caping for & being silent on Creepy Joe's #MeToo allegations:
I told a friend of mine a few weeks ago, I better not see any pussy hats ever again after they nominated Creepy Uncle Joe (I'm running for Senate) Biden. No one has any room to talk now. And yeah, their silence on this whole thing is deafening - especially after they put the country through Hell with Kavanaugh.
Compared to Trump and his allegations, besides being best buds with pedo Jeffrey Epstein, the sexual assault charge against Biden is laughable. This woman claims in an OPEN hallway on Capitol Hill, Biden reached under her skirt and fingered her. If you believe that, more power to you. Anyone who supports or voted for Trump needs to stand down on this one. Like I said before, the Dems are more than willing to compare Biden's 'creep factor to Trump's,' I'd be dating Ivanka if she wasn't my daughter'.
https://twitter.com/unclebarkycom/status/1256944047207460864 Do y'all know if media outlets in other major countries are partisan shills like the MSM outlets are in the U.S.? This shit is laughable.
Some are yup. The problem is you can't make these people rich and not expect them to care anything about the poor
Fam come on this shit is a legitimate claim. The metoo movement is officially dead. They have outed themselves to be completely biased. They've destroyed careers and lives for far less.
