As we march closer and closer to the primaries, I'm getting more and more worried about the "victors". I may not vote next November. The front-runners on both sides are scary, scary, scary.
As I read more and more comments on political-type articles and as I read more comments on Facebook posts, I've come to the realization that I truly do not belong in either party. So much of each party's ideology scares me. I wish another political party would hurry up and gain more prominence. It's a bad, bad time for Democrats and Republicans.
That's how I've viewed most of the Presidential elections, but IF it's a choice between Trump and Clinton, who the HELL would be the lesser of two evils? You see what I'm saying?
How is Clinton not considered a lesser evil than Trump? Not to mention that he has absolutely no political experience. Why is this the only job in the country that doesn't require any experience or training? Where else can a person with no experience get selected in a similar situation. I don't see how we can expect to be a great country and not have any standards. The choice is quite simple. Trump doesn't even have a law degree. Lol. Come on now.
This Donald Trump... what a man wants to stop all Muslims from coming into the USA what a guy! What won't he say.... I am still certain that he will not get out of the primary!
The only Republican I'd consider voting for is John Kasich because he is by far the most moderate and reasonable. So naturally there's no way in hell that he'd be the nominee given the current state of modern-day conservatism. Someone should ask Ben Carson if he'd want an outsider with no medical experience performing brain surgery. The fact that Donald Trump is the frontrunner for the GOP nomination shows you exactly how far off the rails into loony-bin territory the Republican party has gone. It's sad, really.
Okay. And I'm not trying to start a political fight here. Just looking for understanding. Given the likely Republican slate of potential nominees, why wouldn't you vote for Hilary? Why would you think she couldn't do the job?
The Clintons (because you know damn well Bill will have major input) have so many scandals and they are just scum, even by politician standards. Here is a list of some of their scandals: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news...llary-clinton-scandals-ranked-from-/?page=all Not to mention all of the foreign governments that have donated to the Clinton Foundation: http://www.salon.com/2015/05/31/the_cash_donations_hillary_simply_has_no_answer_for_partner/ They are bottom of the barrel, sleazy politicians. I don't trust either one of them, and never have, and never will.
So we're ignoring Berne Sanders all together? People complain for a better option and here he is guys Why he doesn't get even more support from the left is beyond me. No corporate backing and a stellar record. I know the machine doesn't want him but the people should be rallying around him like he's the second coming
I didn't mention Bernie Sanders because going by the most recent poll numbers, stupid Hillary has a huge lead on him. I'd consider voting for Sanders if he (hopefully) wins the nomination. I agree, I wish there was more support for him. Lots of liberal Facebook friends want Sanders. It's encouraging, but I wish his poll numbers were higher.
Are polls a good reflection because it seems like the public is behind Sanders more. And didn't Obama have less than stellar poll numbers too
I like Bernie. I just rather hear his plan on education so I can see where it's going in terms of economic costs before I get excited.
I'm not sure how accurate the polls are...I remember that after the last Democrat debate, a Hillary sponsored poll claimed she won the debate, but everyone else said Bernie did. I couldn't remember about the 2008 election, so I looked it up and found this handy-dandy Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natio..._Democratic_Party_2008_presidential_primaries It looks as though they switched places quite a bit.
