Kenan Thompson's wife Christina Evangeline, has given birth to a baby girl, named Gianna Michelle, according to TMZ.

The publication claims that the comedian, 40, and his stunning wife welcomed their daughter into the world on Tuesday night in Florida, with their newborn weighing in at a healthy 6 pounds, 6 ounces.



Christina posted a video of herself on social media announcing her pregnancy, just days before her baby's due date.

In the short boomerang clip, she could be seen parading her baby bump in front of a mirror, while dressed in a chic black slip dress.

She captioned the video: 'I'm usually private when it comes to these personal things, but we have less than 5 days until this little girl is due and I am just TEW excited.'

The loved-up couple already share another daughter, Georgia Marie, four, who was born in 2014.





In a series of Instagram snaps at the time, the comedian already looked mesmerised by his first-born daughter. Before becoming a father for the first time, Kenan seemed a little unsure of his parenting skills.

He told Seth Rogan on his new Late Night talk show back in 2014: 'I am terrified. I don't know what to do with babies. Like, do you feed it and like, put it away or something?'.

He added: 'I plan to be, like, at the casino or something when she's giving birth - just kind of like old-school it a little bit.'

Christina regularly posts pictures of her young daughter on her Instagram account, who now has a younger sister to dote on.



Kenan - who rose to fame as one half of the iconic duo Kenan and Kel - married Christina in November 2001.

A source at the time told US Weekly: '[They're] very happy. They've lived together as a couple and were excited to share the moments with close friends. She was thrilled and a beautiful bride.'

Kenan's leading lady reportedly wore a silky white gown with a long trail for the ceremony. The model is said to have changed into a ruffled, strapless white dress for the reception at the Arctic Room of the George Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Backstreet Boys singer Nick Cannon was also in attendance as the DJ and MC for the evening.
