That mythological sense of worship and idea that they can do no wrong is a product of a matriarchal structure. You would see similar with white women and their fathers under a patriarchal structure. Some WW, however, attempted to destroy that patriarchal back in the 70s. We, unfortunately, never destroyed our matriarchal structure.

Any attempt would be called misogyny and their misguided supporters only need to see men (oddly the most demonized yet least historically responsible) upsetting a woman and it's automatically abuse. Suddenly every negative action any man has done is rolled into that particular action without any investigation into the situation because you know "believe all women"
All I say is take a page from our Asian brothers and build up silently and just date who you want. Hating us is built into the pie so no need to worry about who's eating just know they'll eventually choke on it.

Dr Thomas Curry has done some wonderful work on this topic and the demonization of black men.
I highly recommend checking out some interviews he's done on YouTube.

Googled Black.com to see what you were talking about and it doesn't exist..what came up was the domain is for sale... which is pretty surprising it's available considering it's the most basic website wording that everybody could remember.

    IMG_20200202_095358.jpg

What struck me is the minimum offer the seller will not go below for the domain

Shit, we are all in the wrong business! :p

That's worthless now since we all use apps and other non .com ways to access websites

I don't know about WORTHLESS, smh, as if websites are not the go to.

Apps take up enormous memory and battery use. Billions use websites still.
We are on one right now.

Let me be clear since you only paid attention to half my comment. Apps AND other non .com websites make the value of something like black.com worthless.
    I could easily do black.black black.phone black.tv
So yes websites are still used just don't see the exclusive need of .com

I see what you mean, but you're still wrong about it being worthless. No. Com is worthless it's the default extension everybody knows, it's like Google.
Having said that, of course it's not worth $3million dollars (minimum) even if there were no other extensions.
(l even just looked up Black.Net and that's available, too.)

Probably someone in the beginning of domain extentions snapped up everything 'Black' and their asking prices were likely so outrageous, no one bit. Still a very cool website address.

I just skimmed through that qz.com article and even the Daily Beast article that was linked in the article. Some people don't seem to understand that the U.S. is a integrated society & man if cultural appropriation is a legit thing to be outraged about, it goes both ways. But I guess it's not PC to call cultural appropriation in a particular direction.

    Wtf is your problem?
Did you come across any mention of the girls in any way throughout this entire thread?
We get it, you don't want to admit you jumped into an assumption that wasn't there.

When race and disability collide: I really, really want to support Lincoln Rhymes: Hunt For The Bone Collector. But, I'm so tired of able body actors being cast in disabled roles. Apparently, inclusion and diversity doesn't extend to people with disabilities.

They both sound and look horrible or at the very least bland as shit. You want good diversity that tackles some racial stuff without hitting you over the head? Try "Evil" instead.

Sounds like the music industry equivalent of Tyler Perry.

Judging All Rise against a supernatural thriller like Evil isn't a fair comparison. All Rise is just one of those low stakes dramas that don't require too much thought which is perfect for just turning my brain off after work.

Billy Porter will star as the Fairy Godmother in the new remake of Cinderella.
    Camila Cabello will play Cinderella.

"Magic has no gender," the star said in an interview with US channel CBS News, adding that young people are "ready" for the change.
