I have been a way from a while.
    are you on skype still?
I don't want to put your business out there.
That being said. I last recall you moved to Arizona?

I'm the one who put my business out there. I don't care. I did it to illustrate a point.

Moving to Phoenix was a disaster. But what's done is done. And now I have to pick up the pieces.
I went both to Phoenix and then came back with expectations.
I was (and am still) severely disappointed with the results.
I knew what to expect from my mother because she's never been different.
Phoenix was a whole other can of worms and I absolutely hated every single second of my existence there. But like I said. I went with expectations. And, uh, wow.
    What a let down.
Anyhow, my whole thing was just to say that I've given up on expectations. Goals. Sure. I still have those. And a pretty pathological need to get those goals met.
My motivation right now isn't the greatest. But once I get to where I actually want to be (again) that will change.

what happen to the job in arizona?

To be quiet honesty, I think it is a mistake to be a chef. Your income will be low. Just get a tech degree .

The job in Arizona was a joke from the get go. It was misrepresented during the interview and the way a lot of things were done were both unorganized and highly, highly unethical.

The last thing I witnessed before leaving was a debate about a 500$ repair done on a misdiagnosed computer for which no diagnostics were preformed. It was decided by management to go on the word of the customer and do the most obvious thing. When the computer came back with the same problem and then some (because I suspected intermittent logic board failure sans GPU issues) the debate among the male techs (and management) was to say it was a GPU issue.

    Whatever.

I hadn't wanted to work there from day one. When I found out that no ESD compliance was followed (wtf...in Arizona? With, like, zero humidity and static like a bitch?) and that most standard diagnostic tools were NOT used in the diagnostic process.

I'm not the best tech ever. Have much I could still learn. But to hell and damnation with all that ignorant fuckery.

become a programmer. You don't have to deal with that crap. You just make programs.

I got to admit I am trying to leave the tech world too. but the way you are going is not one that I would choose. It is just less pay.

Ugh, that sucks. I'm sorry to that you're having to go through all of that, and all at once. I hope things start to turn around soon.

Maybe. But I think my computer days are pretty much over.

I don't need tons of money to do what I ultimately want to do. And I won't need tons of money for upkeep once I get there.

My ultimate plan is to build a zen sanctuary in a still mostly isolated part of the rain forest. Grow my own food and live a close to net zero as I can.
I'm tired of the status quo. It holds less and less sway over me the older I get.

The land is between 5000-10,000 a plot and I can have a micro-house built for about 6-10 a square foot. Things grow a charm out there and it's secluded with tons of rain forest. Even when it becomes heavily populated..which will take a long time I think...it's all off grid living..I will still be secluded (and not overly friendly. Go away AND STAY AWAY)..I'll have it all fenced off and landscaped so its still really secluded.

    Thanks Since!

It's going to get better since it can't always suck. I just have to remain patient and keep my wits about me.

There's always a way out of the suck. Sometimes it just takes a minute. But the longer you sit in it the more you understand it's what you DON'T want. That being the case, you realize what you DO want and can take evasive maneuvers to move in that direction.

Everything for a reason. I don't know what that reason always is..but in the last couple of weeks I have been shown in ways that cannot be denied that its no mistake I'm where I am right now.

God is good all the time.

    Faith is the sticky point.

Damn. Why is everyone so depressed? Someone needs to hit a lotto and share the wealth. Divide it so we can all live leisurely. Nice thought huh.

Too many sad, sick, and potentially dangerous people having the right to express themselves makes me reconsider the 1st Amendment.

I'm at a loss to explain the crazy over the Cheerios ad.

You think the guy playing the papa was filmed having sex with this little girl. Or something.

    Bizarre.

People have mental issues. And honestly people like that don't need to live if they feel threatened over something completely innocent.

This entire row over nothing reveals to me what I have always suspected was the true nature of the country. Hope it changes someday.
