Umm in terms of how different yeah she did its not that different in fact a big portion of Bronx residents move to the suburbs as soon as they can afford to bringing their "style" with them. Maybe I misunderstood

I think (based on the comment Bliss was responding to) the point was that not all New Yorkers are the same just because they're from New York. There will be regional differences and sometimes those differences may be great even if the communities are close together, like the Amish being so close to Philly and yet vastly different.

I love men in general, but I can definitely relate. I once had a thing for a very southern, corn fed, hard working, strapping young man...

Something to be said about those NY'ers though. Swag and confidence!

Still a bad analogy but I get the gist. Like Buffalo is six hrs from NYC its hardly a stones throw. Everything in the lower part of the state is pretty similar but like I said I get the gist especially since you explained it the way you did. Whats interesting is you have far more distinctions within the city like Chinatown is only across the bridge from BK but two different worlds

Ohhhh the good 'ol southern boy! Mmm mmm mmm....those accents make me weak in the knees! And their manners...sheesh! If I could find that out here in SD...GAME.OVER.:heart::heart:

Oh puh-leeze. NYers don't have nothing on these Cali boys. Period. This isn't even a fair fight. Cali boys are something else...their style, their love of good music, their fashion sense...TASTY!

I hate you lol. Fighting with you is like arguing with a brick wall...

If you ever got off your high horse and took a trip out here, you wouldn't want to leave. Warm weather, coolest people in the world, ridiculous music, beaches that drag on forever, football/hockey/baseball, diversity...we even have snow if you're a tad homesick. NY can keep fashion week...that's about all they got.

I'll give you acting but music and fashion is NY all day. Dont get me started on finance. Like I said you people borrow our style. Hip hop, clothes (thpse NY fitteds are everywhere), good food (everyone wants to be an NY chef)

muah hahahaha. Not on my block, it's LA hats all day everyday.

L.A. intimidates people because they're afraid to admit it's better than where they're from. In L.A., we order bagels from people that don't yell at us. We don't care if your pizza is better. We like ours, but we like yours, too. We legally smoke weed, we surf, we go to work in flip-flops and we drive Priuses. We work hard, we're laid back, we eat avocados and we do yoga. We respect N.Y., and don't even expect it back. That's how we roll.

Los Angeles has the better weather, the better technology, the car capital of the world, better jobs, better food and better people.New York City: You pay outrageous rent, and who wants to pay $1,000/month just to park your car?

True? So then you must feel he's talking about you, too. You are always on here blowing yourself up, c'mon now. :smt018

Have no idea who/what Banshee(?) is, lol.

Timeout little lady, do I feel he is talking about me? Yes and No.

I'm sure there are others than can agree to my method of motivation for others out there doesn't constitute as me being in the same ball park as IamMe. I could also be wrong on that statement.

Do I post about being an ex-convict that made it to corp America, yep! Do I show I'm a go-getter and don't let things stop me just because its stopped others, yep! Have I posted what I make yearly, nope. Have I put down others because I feel i am Superior to them, nope.

Someone said it best, "I'm responsible for what i say, not what you understand". If you think I'm on here a boost my ego or make it seem like I'm better than everyone else then you have the wrong impression about me....

Banshee is a TV show that has strong Amish ties to the main Mobster style antagonist in the show.

LOL, I only remember you're from there from your 'I'm Too Scared to Walk Through The Ghetto" thread :smt056 So don't get it twisted :p

Yes, you got it right. Though like TDK said about Chinatown, it's not so much distances I was referring to, more-so we are all under the PA moniker. Pittsburgh, Allentown, etc...all different community cultures.
