    Exactly.

Regardless of whatever spin they put on it to justify it, it's still a racket and they're screwing people over. Yeah, it sucks that there are deadbeats that don't pay their bills, but it's wrong to punish everyone for not having the cash or insurance to deal with everything up front. It's also wrong to penalize those who do pay off their bills just because the best they can do is make payments. There is no reason for the shit to be that expensive; IMO opinion they do it because they can get away with it.

    Yep.

Yeah, I hate that too. It's extremely frustrating.

LOL, been thinking the same thing for a while with all the nonsense going on around politics in this country. Stomach turning stuff.

Canada looks real good to me bro.

I understand everywhere has its issues, but damn, these cats are treating Obama like a bastard stepchild, you wouldn't think this man was elected twice by the people.

Congress would cut off their nose to spite their face as the "sequester" approach showed. Even when it meant cuts in defense spending, the only thing those rara Republicans cater to an increase for.

I've been thinking about getting the fuck out of here as well. Tired of the bs politics.

Sandy made her presence known at my house. She leaked all over part of my living room. But yeah, this storm completely bypassed Lancaster. BUT just 40 minutes west of here, they had 6+ inches!! One of our guys came from York and when he got to work, was astounded that we hadn't even seen a snowflake!

Oh my...and you're in Lancaster? WOW! Do you see Amish people all the time? I've never been there...but I watch Amish Mafia, lol. :partyman:

Oh that's right, I forgot about that. It got pretty dicey for me there too but luckily I had a sweet someone who kept me calm through it at the time.

6+ inches!..wow. We really did dodge a bullet.

Typical media overhype about big snowstorm heading to the Northeast.

Ha ha I know that's got to be a bit of a cultural shock. I used to drive with my ex-b/f through Allentown every weekend on our way to McCungie for martial arts training. The rustic scenery is beautiful when you get off 676 towards A-Town.

    Oh and a formal....

Good to hear the storm and the snowflakes missed y'all! All of our snow is slowly melting away and I'm sitting at my desk...blah. Lol

Not really. All I do is go to work then back to my apartment. I pretty much keep to myself. And I go back to NY every weekend, so....

    Bliss Well-Known Member

Yup. But hey, gotta find some way to rid the shelves of expiring milk and bread...and those straggling snow-blowers. Bad weather is huge business for a State. :D

Well Allentown is a quiet place. I can see the NY draw...though clearly its for your beautiful kids, but still, there's no place like home to draw you in.

No doubt it's the other way around too! I can imagine how excited they are to see you. :) As an expat from Australia, I WISH my family were a car ride away. :smt049
