I just can't buy Madea as Alex Cross. I'm glad he's doing well and it is good to see him branch out but there's at least five or six other actors I'd rather see in this role.

 

I love my italian cuisine and I so HATE when americans (and others) fuck our recipes up and make ignorant people think that's real italian food.

Lasagne have no ricotta or eggs or mozzarella inside, for God's sake!
And that's not ragù, that's a liquid (ew) sauce of ground meat with an overly eccessive splash of tomato sauce and no seasonig. EWWW!
sorry, I saw a video of this Laura Vitale who thinks she's cooking italian stuff but I think she has that italian-american cooking background that has nothing to do with real italian food. It makes me so mad lol.

I know, Arwen...here in Chicago, you generally have to go to where the natives (Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Polish) live to get real, authentic ethnic food, and even then, it is often fucked up to suit the tourists. I have to get to know some Italian grandma to get the real stuff!

 

So do I. James Patterson is one of my favorite authors, even if he writes way too many books for me to keep up with. I'm about three or four books behind on the Alex Cross series, and by the time I finish writing this it'll end up being five or six.

 

I know...I read the first few books way back there, and haven't kept up, so I have some heavy reading to do. Not excited about the Tyler Perry casting. though I will say this: every actor deserves a chance to break out of typecasting, if it helps their career, so in that regard, I wish him well.

I've always wanted to go bc it's beautiful and I wonder what the non American version of Italian food taste like.

But not American Italian...

Watered down Italian is not as beautiful nor as feisty as original Italian.

After today, I've realised that I'm tired.

I'm tired of the same old people starting shit, stirring it and then calling fowl.

I'm tired of having to police so called adults who act in a way here that they would never in real life.

I'm tired of being tested and having to flex my mod muscle just to try and get some peace, kindness and understanding amongst people who are supposedly here for the same reason.

I'm tired.

I have shit in my life that would knock even the hardest of person, yet I try to remain positive. The individuals here that continue to fight for sheer fighting sake, grow up.
