Racism in the November election

Term limits won't help anything. It would just be another way to shirk our responsibility. The limit on these peoples terms is supposed to be not voting for them. But as a nation full of apathetic and out of touch people we allow this nonsense.

 

Word. Another very excellent point. Cycle after cycle, Americans bitch and moan about their politicians being "unaccountable" yet about 95% of officials up for re-election win. So its easy to see why politicians take their "constituents" for granted.

However i still favor the term limit, even for Supreme Court justices.

 

I agree. But, since the majority of people in this country can't seem to be "bothered" with doing any kinds of research on the candidates, then some action needs to happen to avoid people just continuing to vote in the incumbent. It's ridiculous. They give us this right to vote and people take it for granted.

And Cris, I'm all for term limits for Supreme Court Justices, too!
