How about you read the article with the checklist. That was for Black Men. Period. When you've read it, come back and we can talk about it, otherwise, your wild assumptions about it's purpose, design, and intent have no value.

I read it three times and I still don't get how it pertains to this particular discussion.
Again it just seems like you want to claim victimhood and not engage in actual conversation.
way to dodge my comment about rape btw

I'm losing track of the purpose of this entire thread.

I think we both can agree that racism and sexism exist and that it's bad. Beyond that, what are we looking to accomplish here?

Meaningfully discuss the differences but I guess a better question would be how can one stop it?

Ok, meaningfully discuss the differences.,. but what does that even mean?

I think this thread has fulfilled its destiny. That destiny being the 'oppression olympics'.

Its NOT the FIRST question you are being asked. Sheesh.
It is not the primary selection criteria for selecting a car.
Stop being so dense on purpose, you know it is not.

and while you at it, stop pretending that ladies night free entry is some privilege that means anything. Since the purpose of that is aimed at men.
    Dude, you look so silly.

Again, your little "sexist story" is so fuckin miniscule it shouldn't even be brought up.

"OMG the car dealer first asked me what color I'm looking for!!!! What a sexist pig!!!! OMGZ!!!":smt043

And the ladies night thing was just a joke sheesh. Stop being so dense on purpose;)

Privilege, and privileges have different meanings. When I use privilege I'm using a sociological meaning of the word.

Using power in terms of rape isn't about physical power. Honestly DK, I'm plumb worn out from the doctor's this morning. You're trying to deconstruct a field in which you don't even know the basic vocabulary, my friend. Over to DB because I'm just not there today

Yeah, it keeps getting sidetracked into that, rather than a recognition that oppression works on all of us here, just in different ways.

I don't think a single woman here has suggested that black men don't have a hard time in society.

Eh not really. I understand your going for sociological meaning of the word but the fact remains that white women in America have it made and are more privileged than black males...BY FAR.

    SMDH.
I didn't bitch about it - I SHARED a fucking story. . That's some dumb ass typical asshole assumption right there. Don't fuckin read it if you don't want to hear it

Had you paid actually ATTENTION, you would have noticed that where I mentioned that, me and treepixie was musing over funny situations in regards to sexist tendencies. There were NO bitching.

You really are a narrow-minded unpleasant fool. Back on ignore you go. Later.

It seems like a lot of that list could apply to all males and, not just BM'S. The only thing I don't care for is, him using the word privilege. I don't consider it a privilege to do some of the awful things he mentioned, that I personally wouldn't do.

Last response to your childish, trite ass.
Nobody, NOBODY said ww had it worse than bm. Why do you treat this as a competition??? Simple-minded childish nonsense.
So you think as long as somebody has it worse than you, you have no right to say anything??? Well guess what.......

I know about the guy with no feet, but if I don't have shoes and socks, my feet aren't any less cold.

We have a winner, folks! Nicely noted, yes, a lot of that stuff applies to ALL men. And of course you wouldn't do those things, because you're a thoughtful and considerate person. But the thing is, you *could* do them if you chose, and some men do.

Thank you, I feel like someone is paying attention at least!
