Here's an age-old question: How far HAVE we've actually gotten in this country on race-relations???

unfortunately baby steps if you average out the areas that have come far with those who haven't.

being 40, i have seen it through the 70s, 80s, 90s and now. I have lived in conservative south and the liberal north and I can say that it is a mixed bag. the south has gotten alot better than 30 years ago, but it was getting better then, but I see that the north has gotten a little worse than better.

racism is alive and well in both places but way better than the 1800s, and most of the 1900s for sure.

many places that you would think were good are really scary and the rise of the white supremacist groups have gotten worse

So, it's just like I suspected: It's still about the same as it's always been. Yes, we are still tipping the scales back-and-forth on this matter.

    Talk about scoring a touch-down.

Everybody know when these things happen, but proving it is another matter and that's what racists bank on.

not surprising, we just gotta keep pushing and maybe some time in future crap like this won't happen
