Her being really White doesn't impact at all her being the director of a regional NAACP organization.

In an odd way Ms. Dolezal is the embodiment of a world without racial discrimination or race prejudice.

No one is really making a big deal about her being 'white'

Many black activists are comfortable with white activists and would have preferred if she approached her mission in civil rights/black empowerment without her charade (just like the hundreds/thousands of other whites involved)

She was against whites and non-blacks herself when it came to leading different movements, but felt comfortable enough to disregard her own decrees
