Not particularly interesting - you get the jist after the first couple of slides. What amazes me is how "White Pride World Wide" think this proves something about black people being criminals. And some of the comments about this video are plain shocking...

It's all humorous to me. People get SOOO mad because blacks live in America. As if we brought ourselves here on slave ships. ha!

IF THEY DIDN'T WANT US HERE THEY NEVER SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT US. Too late now...

That's what confused me about the lynchings. They hated black people...for what? It isn't as though black people came and invaded and took over the place - they were forced there, to serve the white people!

This is how I think it is:

Black people have every right to be mad at us "white folks". And we all know that. Therefore a lot of white people, are terrified... some let their fear come out as hate.

I mostly pitty theese people. It can't be all easy living a life in fear. They need therapy and education.

Ok, I hope I'm not gonna shock anyone too badly...well, or maybe I don't really hope that..

Anyway Iffy'swifey, this is why the Lynchings happened:

"The white chicken from the Farm Southville in the New World, loved to eat almond nuts that grew on the tall almond trees...unfortunately, they had to wait for the almond to fall on the ground, meaning they had to wait a long time to eat the delicious nuts.

One day, they heard that the brown monkeys from Africa could climb on the trees and get the almond nuts much faster...so they brought a lot of monkeys to America, bribing the chief monkeys in Africa to sell them the strongest and fittest monkeys.

It was bliss, they could now eat the delicious nuts everyday at will...they were really happy, but soon they realized that the monkeys wanted to eat some of the nuts too. Also, with their fast African spermatozoids, they started multiplying so fast the chicken got frightened.

They were afraid the monkeys would outnumber them, take over the trees, eat all the nuts alone, and oh good Lawd, mate with the innocent white chicks!!! So they bought ropes and lighters...and used the almond trees"

    The rest is history...

There is a sexual dynamic to lynchings that would make Freud dizzy..

Almost every BM that was lynched was also Castrated..trinkets were cut off the body and made into souvenirs..

I know a white guy who's grandfather was killed at a lynching FIGHTING OVER THE VICTIMS PENIS!!!!!!!

All I can say is I can understand why you'd trivialize lynchings in this manner. And women got lynched too. Most likely your family hadn't reached these shores and never got to "swing"...hence the detachment.

I know you writing in a metaphor but I don't consider my ancestors as monkeys. I need to let you get this book on lynchings and yes women and men got lynched and this book shows all of that in graphic detail.

During the early colonial days, it was very common for BM to mate and marry non-Black women simply due to BM outnumbering BW during that time. Thus, many married Native women and if they were in indentured servitude--White Indentured slave women as well. There was no lynchings, killings, or laws against these interactions, b/c the system of chattel slavery of Black Africans was not set in stone at the time.

During slave times in the Deep South, it was very common and well known for WW to enlist Black male slaves as their lovers--they initiated the contact, not BM. Most of the time, it was against the men's will, but they feared what would happen to their life if they did not oblige. She could have him whipped or even killed. Quiet as it is keep--many WW during this era sexually violated BM. It was not such a taboo to have a BM as a lover, the taboo was having the nerve to marry a BM and/or have a child by him. This is when it was unacceptable.

It was only during the time of Reconstruction, post civil war era, when Blacks became free and there were successful Black alpha males taking charge of their lives, their families, and communities that they b/c a threat. This is when the myth of the Black men wanting a White woman started and the period of lynchings, mainly targeting Black men. Many of these successful BM had absolutely no desire to be with WW and dealt with their own women. The Black men chasing the White women card was used as an excuse in a campaign across the South and throughout the settled states and territories of the United States to wipe out the alpha Black males in the community, which by the way, who had absolutely no dealings with WW. Furthermore, those who did engage in relations with WW were more than likely obviously/immediately "mixed" (Black/White) men.

To learn more, you can read:

    by Martha Elizabeth Hodes

    2. The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow by Richard Wormser

    3. Africans and Native Americans: The Language of Race and the Evolution
of Red-Black Peoples by Jack D. Forbes

Alex Manly, Black publisher and editor, of the Wilmington Daily Record, during the time of Reconstruction. He was combating the statement of a White racist woman, who happened to be a feminist from Georgia, by the name of Rebecca Falton, who supported lynching of BM to support White womanhood. Manly responded by pointing out that the lynchings for rape was cover-ups for voluntary interracial sexual relations. Manly stated,

"Every Negro lynched is called a big burly brute when many had white
men as fathers and are not only not black, but are sufficiently attrac-
tive to white girls of culture and refinement to fall in love with them.
Don't ever think your women will remain pure while you are
debauching ours. You sow the seed. The harvest will come in due
    time."

One of the best quotes of the century!!

    Peace.

Much as we may criticize discrimination as it still exists, lets face it - we have come a long way. Lots of WM are in IR relationships. From my recent time in University, I would say that most of my girlfriends were dating BM at some time. Many of us also had great times with our fellow students from Africa - and yes, this was at times just for sex. We might have been called sluts at times, but who cares. Society hsa always discouraged us from having relationships with people outside our race. My girlfriends dating arab guys also got called names. But we move on and say "who cares"?

I think what is worrying whites are the statistics of Black on White crime, which is never really categorized as a hate crime but thats what these white nationalist believe they should be identified as. If you look at the statistics of black on white crime it is actually really high unfortunately. The high rate of violent crime of black folks is what most of these white pride world wide folks are really scared of. From looking at the statistics, they have found a reason to be afraid. Unfortunately I have hope for my people whereas they just want us all out of the country.

When I hear the word Lynching, one song comes to my mind..."Strange Fruit" by Billie Holiday:

    "Southern trees
    Are bearing strange fruit
    Blood on the leaves
    And blood at the roots
Black body swingin in the southern breeze
Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees

Pastoral scenes of the gallant south
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth
Scent of magnolias, sweet and fresh
Then the sudden smell of burning flesh

Here is a fruit for the crows to pluck
    For the rain to gather
    For the wind to suck
    For the sun to rot
    For the leaves to drop
Here is a strange and bitter crop"

Maybe we've come a long way...but memories of this will certainly last forever...now some people will also call this extraordinary song by Billie a trivialized view of the lynchings  ...some people will say "my ancestors weren't fruits"
I say some people think that sounding all serious, hurt and dramatic all the time is the only way to get a message to hit people's heart! hmmm...

I find it funny how white supremacist say "go back to Africa",huh lol.Go back to where?Got any documents that show where exactly we come from Africa? lol
Also,if you think about it,alot of blacks are more "american" than whites.Remember that blacks americans ancestors were here in the 1800's.Alot of white american ancestors came here sooner than that especially during the 20's (irish, italian, polish) immigrants.

not all blacks were indians, not all blacks were african.

but, many of the blacks in america came from places other than AMERICA.
