    :)

I wonder how many variations of that particular Ra/Horus symbol there are?

    Nice thread idea, Pixie. :smt038

Ra is definitely deserving of his own thread. ;)

I found a few interesting ones...

Cool images from you as always there Texas. And great find with the carving Pixie. I don't need my own thread however and fortunately it will never catch on and last anyway. :D

I didn't know where to put it to make sure you'd see it. :)

You could have put it in the Nerdz Lounge thread. I always peek in any of threads I started even when I don't have anything to post myself. A pumpkin with an Eye of Ra carving can legitimately be seen as nerdy.

Oh Cool!! Have you seen any designed for men? I've been looking for earrings of that design for men forever and a day but only have ever seen them for women.

What's the difference? It's not like earrings are gendered - an Eye of Ra is an Eye of Ra.

True, but most of the ones I've seen are definitely designed more towards female taste. Bookie's is the first that looks neutral that I've seen. I'm not that big into jewelry to begin with so it just might be me when it comes to looking at the ones that I've seen. :smt102

I bought mine at the Field Museum whilst I was there. Maybe you can check a museum store?

Thanks. I might just have to check into that since regular jewery stores don't seem to be the answer.

Ra, you should check the online shop for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. They have one of the largest Egyptian collections in the US. The last time I was there the show was full of stuff.
