    He would be missed. Pratt however did not join the Olympic Games in 1968.

    He was a hero to my oldest brother who grew up in the 1960's. When I told my brother of Pratt's passing on the phone he was quiet for a long moment. Pratt's poster like this picture hang high in my brother's den. Pratt and others represented a time of black men who stood with pride in being black. My brother has a banner above the poster. It reads "I'M BLACK AND I'M PROUD".
