Ok well we are talking about Quincy Jones, not just any guy who was in his 70s. I'm pretty sure there are some young guys out there who would go for Sophia Loren (83 years old), Ann Margaret, Jane Fonda (80 years old), Helen Mirren, Raquel Welch, and so on.

 

oh and darlin - I'm 52 and get young ones asking me out all the time. So do several women I know who are older than I am. I really do not think I'm exceptional.

YESSSSS!!! OMG you have NO idea!! I was helping a friend of mine with his dating profile a couple of weeks ago and I was showing him different profiles and men on there are even talking about all the Cougars and women wanting younger guys (as in ragging about it). Think about this....there's a lot of guys who take meds or have medical issues and they aren't able to just pop a little blue pill. I've dated younger women for most of my life, but not on purpose they seem to be more open to flirting with me. My girlfriend now is 20 years younger than me, but she didn't know I was in my 40's. I don't look my age.

Yeah and also depends on where you are at. My girlfriend and I are a rare May-December couple in my area and neighborhood. There is only one other couple like us we have seen a few times this year. An Older woman and a younger man. Quite a few IR couples in my area as well.

I think most people would be surprised that there are folks in their 60s and 70s who still have active sex lives.
I remember a story several years back about a rise in STDs at an assisted living communities in part because of the popularity of ED meds like cialis and viagra among retirees.

Lots of seniors are still extremely vital and living active social lives. Usually it's an illness or injury later in life that makes old people 'old'.
