yes i think its natural for people to be curious

after all there is that saying that in every stereotype or joke there is a shred of truth.

A little rude though. They wouldn't ask if I were in the mob if I were Italian or how drunk my mom got if I lived in rhe upper middle class suburb. Weird how they feel that comfortable to ask that kind of question when dude is black.

I've been asked that irritating question many times. I know there's curiosity about the myth, but it's skanky as hell IMO to go around asking that question. I've even had hags crazy enough to ask me about my son's dick (WTF?!?!?), for which they tend to get a dose of my temper in response. I don't get what makes people think it's okay to ask something so personal, but I typically respond with a smart-ass remark & go on about my business.

Shows you what they really think of black people. Nothing more than pets to some of these douche bags. They would never dare ask the size of a white child's genitalia.

    I've been asked.

Usually with this type of question that I find too personal ...I just say back "why would you ask??". Most people get they have crossed the line then. I don't respond rudely but once they think on it.

I will answer other questions re IR which to me may seem obvious but to someone who doesn't know but is honestly curious. To me there are questions that are rude and questions that the person honestly wants to know and feels comfortable asking you.

I don't know how Tam restrained from knocking someone out. I had an ex who had a daughter who was blonde hair blue eyed and she always worried about her and I (the daughter and me) being out alone because of shit like that. To paraphrase I wish a nigga would. If that child had become my step daughter dumb asses stupid enough to act out of pocket would have one embarassing ass day.

Yes, I've been asked if the myth is true but not by my close friends. I've also been asked if that's the reason I date BM.

Well, good. I think the woman should feel embarrassed by her own ignorance. :p

I hear a lot of people say racist things about Obama. Then when you call them on it they make it out like it was political not race based. So whatever. I date bm and I voted for Obama. :p

Almost every woman that knows my man is black has asked me that. I find it offensive now. I don't think I thought much about it in the beginning, but the idea that you can ask something so private is just plain rude to me now.

Seeing the responses of you ladies, seems like this is something that legitimately pops up, wow.

That big black dick myth is a hell of a notion for some folks.

Amazingly these individuals wouldn't dream of asking about your sex life with a White or Asian man etc, as how they casually ask about a black man they know you are going out with.

What makes someone think that is appropriate or decent to do.

As a black male I might have to start walking around with a sign around my neck, "There is more to me than muh dick size" :D

That is some serious level of insecurity or overzealous curiosity to ask that of a woman as a grown ass man.

Well, you know the expression "Once you go black, you never go back". I guess they assume that's why. Not true, in my case, but for some it may be.
