Thanks for this. Sharing it already, in case it's removed, lol.

Andreaboba, they were constantly compared when alive. Its not gonna stop in death, either. Both were incredible in thieir own right...but Prince was a multi-talented performer. Just miss them both terribly.
Now I know how my mother felt when Elvis died. and how the generation before me felt when Lennon was shot.

*** All along the stretch of I-95 here in Philly, every electronic billboard switched to say the word in bold letters R.I. with the P as the Prince symbol in purple.

I totally agree with you. But it is what it is. Bliss is correct. It's not going to stop because they're dead.

Hope someone heard most of Prince's songs in http://www.thecurrent.org/
They did a great job in playing the entire list of released Prince songs.

Fans at Paisley Park received memorabilia today from his estate.

Prince and Michael Jackson were equal, yet opposites on the same coin. Michael sang about love, hope, joy and pain. He was a big optimist . Prince sang about love, sex, life and lust for life. He was pretty much a humanist.

    Both were very talented.
Both were mysterious in their own way.

It's not unusual to make comparisons between the two.

No doubt that all the unreleased recordings will be out soon.

Saw it SS. Those fans were fortunate. I would if I lived in Minnesota.

Both had Jehovah's Witnesses teaching. Prince skated with LaToya in the early 80's or late 70's and knew MJ's mother. Both fought with record companies in control of their music. Had MJ was more secretive like Prince and careful with his money there would not been no drama.

SNL did a Prince tribute show last night.

They showed his "Let's Go Crazy" performance at the SNL 40th anniversary after party. It was amazing.

    He was a true talent.

It was a sad day on Thursday.

    RIP.

From last night's show, it's almost 10 minutes long, but totally worth it:

My late older brother was more a Prince fan than Michael Jackson fan. He liked everything under Paisley Park records. He even had the 12 inch record of the extended version of Let's Go Crazy. It was in the.movie but not the official soundtrack album. I love the extended version.

I had discovered the extended version of Michael Jackson's song The Lady On My Life. Michael sang his heart out in the song. It's on YouTube. It was said that Michael had a rough time during the recording of Thriller. I guess he and Quincy Jones had differences about the music. Michael walked out in tears.

When my brother picked up Prince's Under The Cherry Moon, I thought it was a little strange and moody. He didn't buy Graffiti Bridge. I bought Batman. Diamonds And Pearls was a masterpiece of a production, full of color and bright energy.

Absolutely devastated. I just saw him in February for his piamo and microphone tour. Vanity had passed the day before, so he was a little quiet and sad. Such an amazing concert. Such an incredible man. What a broken world we now live in, without him
