    Love him or hate him, this was a very good speech. This is how you motivate & inspire the next generation.

    Yes, indeed, a very good speech. Being that President Obama is still in office, I don't think society or culture (in a broader sense) can really appreciate what he's accomplished. I hope in retrospect, even those that hate Obama or didn't think he did a very good job will appreciate the overwhelming opposition this man faced. Sometimes his opposition was purely down the party line, something every president has to endure. However, President Obama had to deal with vitriol and blind anger/hate that probably no other president before him has had to face and hope no one else after must endure. However, if a future president ever does have to face a similar situation as Obama, I only hope they show the same type of wisdom and dignity he did.
