Although I love the original, I'd like to see Jaws remade. Only because I think the CGI today is incredible and when we eventually see the shark it would be far more convincing (seeing how fake the shark is at the end of the original kinda ruins it a bit for me). Also, I'd like more tension in it (and better looking men).

Uh huh. You want the shark to be less plastic looking but the men to be less realistic looking? Just say......:D

    I surely do. :D That's exactly what I want.

Edit: Having said that, I don't want some metrosexual idiots in it. I quite like men a bit scruffy, so good looking but not 'hollywood'. If that makes any sense?

Rumor has it that within the next year or so we will have a prequel of sorts to Wizard of Oz called: Oz, the Great and Powerful. It will star James Franco and Mila Kunis.

Personally, I enjoyed the movie. I thought that it was a commentary on racism and how people can form false impressions based on their ignorance of one another. Unlike The Birth of a Nation, they showed a human, who through unforeseen circumstances, grew to understand, support and even defend the aliens.

As American we obviously might take some offense to the idea of the Africans being cannibals but don't forget that the setting is Africa. In that context, it's a fact that a large percentage of Africans believe in the magic power associated with the using body parts in witchcraft rituals. Albinos have been targeted in particular. Apparently, a black market, no pun intended, exists for the ears, genitals, breasts and fingers of Albinos. There have been suggestions that cannibalism is also part of the rituals.
