Thing is the ancestors of most black people who came to America were brought there illegally and against their own volition but centuries after that their descendants are legal so give the illegals a chance American can handle all these illegal immigrants 12 million or so.
Agreed. Appiah you don't know shit so shut up. If you invited 2 people to your house to dinner then you should be able to handle inviting 100?? That is what you are saying. Everyone should come with no regard to whether they can support themselves or our country can handle them. Come one come all take advantage of our social services system. Come be leaches. How about we send them to your country if you are feeling so generous?? We have quotas and rules here for a reason. Because you don't like that doesn't mean we will change it. You don't have to like the rule just follow it.
Btw this is false. How were African slaves illegal immigrants when they were brought here against their own will? So suspect.
I said they were brought here illegally didn't say they were illegal immigrants. The white man brought them there illegally but at the end of the day their ancestors are legal American citizens up. I know this pisses a lot of you off but i am actually enjoying you guys pulling your hair out for something you can't do shit about. Keep on being mad at me but it wont change anything, they will still come to America. I think you guys will have a better chance stopping the drugs coming over from Mexico than stopping the illegal immigrants
dude, I don't know your educational background but you're making yourself look stupid here. Yes America is land of immigrants. There are tons of ppl who come here legally every year from all walks of life. Some come via marriage visa, family visa, school, high tech or low tech job visa, or tourist visa. The majority of these folks do not go back to their respective countries and they stay here and apply for green card or citizen ship. Also there is a DV lottery program that select > 55,000 foreigners from all over the world (with exception of few countries) and give automatic green card. So yes we are generous and let ppl come here every day but they should abide by the law of the land. And the slavery part, I am not even gonna touch it, smdh. Attitudes like your post is what motivate the Minutemen militia in Arizona. If I lived in Arizona I will join them too and will shoot to kill. I am for poor, underserved, displaced, less fortunate, sick, old and refugees but when a whole village or town leave the country and come to the border illegally every day mostly from one caountry then Houston we got a problem.
I am actually well educated but you got to understand that the points i am making across is exactly what the illegal immigrant would want to make, so i am being the voice for the illegal immigrants, self appointed though. And with the bold part are you mad because they mostly come from Mexico or you mad because they come through Mexico? Try going to join those racist motherfuckers called minutemen and see if you wont get shot and be mistaken for an illegal African immigrant and hey the spelling is country my learned friend.:smt020
I got no desire to go back and forth with you. Great you want to advocate for displaced folks but you got to understand what and how much it's costing America.
Dude leave this genius alone. He doesn't even know how to argue his points correctly. Like if he wanted to argue that the five border states that they often go to use to be Mexican territory then I'd say he has a good start but this dumb ass wants to argue ridiculous points like the slaves were illegals? How can you be an illegal if you're forced here especially during a time where there weren't established borders.
Seriously fantastic you have an IQ problem or cant read English . You made this very hollow point that i said slaves were illegal and i corrected you by saying i did not say that i said the white man brought them to America illegally and that is not the same as the slaves being illegal and you still don't get it smgdmfh did you pass English in high school or did you even finish high school
China Has New Aircraft Carrier http://www.military.com/news/article/us-chinas-carrier-watched-by-region.html?ESRC=eb.nl US: China’s Carrier Watched by Region April 13, 2011 Associated Press WASHINGTON -- China's first aircraft carrier could begin sea trials as early as this summer and its deployment would significantly change the perception of the balance of power in the region, the chief of U.S. forces in the Pacific said Tuesday. China bought the vessel from Ukraine more than a decade ago, and it is viewed as emblematic of the communist state's ambition to be a military power that can challenge America's decades-long supremacy in the west Pacific. China's state news agency this month carried photos of the carrier in what it said was the final stages of reconstruction. "Based on the feedback from our partners and allies in the Pacific, I think the change in perception by the region will be significant," Adm. Robert Willard told the Senate Armed Services Committee. Willard also noted the "remarkable growth" of China's military. But he viewed that impact as largely symbolic, as there would be a long period of training, development and exercises before the carrier becomes operational. The U.S. Pacific Command led by Willard has five aircraft carrier strike groups, which it has used to project American power across a region key to global trade. However, China's military build-up, which includes the rapid development of ballistic missiles and cyber warfare capabilities, has spooked its neighbors and could potentially crimp the U.S. forces' freedom to operate. Willard said that China has increased and improved its fleet of both conventional and nuclear-powered submarines, which had prompted a proliferation of submarines in the Asia-Pacific. He mentioned Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Australia as countries that have either acquired or signaled their intention to acquire or expand their submarine fleets. However, Willard said that China's navy has been less aggressive in its operations this year than last. He described that as a "retrenchment" by China following U.S. statements that it has a national interest in the peaceful resolution of territorial disputes in the South China Sea -- where China's claims of sovereignty are challenged by several countries in southeast Asia. "While we continue to experience their shadowing of some of our ships and so forth that are operating in these waters, we have not seen the same level of assertiveness in 2011 that we witnessed in 2010," he said. Willard also attributed this to the U.S. and China resuming military-to-military relations. The ties had been suspended over U.S. arms sales to Taiwan. Gen. Walter Sharp, commander of U.S. forces in South Korea, said American troops should remain on the volatile Korean peninsula for the "foreseeable future" because of the threat posed by North Korea. He said he did not see North Korean leader Kim Jong Il giving up his nuclear capability as he believes it vital for his regime's survival.
