That all black guys like rap/hip-hop. I'm a heavy metal guy. That's my favorite form of music. I don't fit the stereotype
I like a lot of forms of music. Metal, Underground rap, the wicked shit, techno, goth, punk.... I hate being labeled.
I like different kinds of music as well, mostly 90s hip hop/RnB, African music, Bob Marley, jazz (bop), some rock and pop, some classical etc.
The one that gets me most is people believe it is only about sex. If it is a black man and white women, they cant possibly be in love, it HAS to be about the sex.
That we all like Rap music. When i went to Russia, everyone i met was interested in knowing what kind of Rap music i liked the most. When they see a black guy, they're expecting gold chains, gold teeth, and hip hop it seems.
That they have some inherent disadvantage simply because they are black. This stereotype is often projected by even well-meaning non-blacks.
That white women are easier than other ethnicities. It doesn't really bother me, it's just really, really silly. Like FlyGirl, the dick thing annoys me too.
Yeah, same. I used to get it all the time when people found out that my ex was black. 'Oh so I bet it's because of his dick right. RIGHT?!?!?!?' And what Sarah said, guys here seem to assume that just because you're white, you're going to sleep with them. No thanks.
Yes, the dick/sex thing annoys the hell outta me. That's all some people seem to be interested in. It's all about how big his dick is. :-? The 'all black men like rap' thing is pretty funny to me. My man is a fan of ballads and love songs. Stereotype about white women...Hey, women in general I suppose. I hate that everyone thinks we like "girlie movies". You know...love stories and shit. No, no, no!!!! Give me action (esp. old school Jackie Chan), thriller, horror or sci-fi any day. Not that I don't appreciate a good drama or comedy, but I just prefer the others. Especially thrillers and anything Quentin Tarantino has touched.
Sonny, l like Six Feet Under, but I can't go with you on Slipknot though lol. The whole "Slipknot vs Mushroomhead" thing from back in the day has me totally against them. Mushroomhead's my hometown band, and I feel that Slipknot stole their style and their stage persona. But anyways lol, here's my favorite bands: Pantera, Mushroomhead, Faith No More, 216(local band), HRH(local band), Down, Tool, Tomahawk, Sevendust, Alice in Chains, White Zombie, Runt(local band), Unified Culture(local band), Nirvana, State of Conviction, Juvenile, Mr. Bungle, Meshuggah, Peeping Tom, Slayer, Three 6 Mafia, Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God, Ozzy, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, HIM, Hatebreed, Dog Fashion Disco, Chimaira, Deftones, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Smashing Pumkins, AC/DC, Soundgarden, Korn, Shadows Fall,
lol That's crazy Thank ya bro Good point. I don't look at myself as disadvantaged. If I put my mind to it, I can compete with anyone and succeed
I loved 'Wings of a Butterfly' by HIM Nirvana is timeless also.... hhmmmmmmmmmm I also grew up on Billy Corrigan...MTV child 'I used to be a little boy...what's a boy....supposed to do.....the killer in me, is the killer in yoooouuu, send this smile...over to youuuu!'
The ones who say that don't realize that for some ppl falling in love with someone it's more a mental thing, the physical comes secondly and afterwards. I really don't understand where this came from :smt102 but I guess everyone things that the women from other ethnicities are easier - I've heard that about hispanic/black women too. Wtf  - I've never heard that before.
