Popular DC Bar catching heat for hosting an Interacial Event

It had to have been SUPER SUCCESSFUL last time they didi it for them to do it again.

 

Great News!

One thing I always shake my head at is this era's disdain of IR (mainly between bm/ww) that they want to try to label the term 'Interracial' offensive. They think if you have a preference for black men you're fetishizing us, they think if we have a preference for white women we are of course "coons" and "sellouts".

IR is beautiful and folks can celebrate other forms of love like BW/WM IR, black love and ESPECIALLY Gay relationships then black men and white women should be able to as well. They get all high and mighty and try to tell you love is love and we don't see no color, but they don't say that about any other type of relationships.

 

Based on that event, it looks to be a major success, and it will continue to run year after year. Let's only hope that no hate-filled collective comes disrupting the event, lest they will likely be met with the burning embers to embalm their very existence into nothingness.
