    I listed all early 90s.

Well, Perfection dropped in 95, but it was recorded in 94.

Plus, everything goodlove listed was 80s, only.

    Not you, Andrae...lol

Jay-Z as an artist can count though, cause he was around in the late 80s. (Hawaiian Sophie time frame)

LOL! Yeah, I used to love that song.

    *Sings: Can I Get Open*

I have an old videotape of all old early 90s Hip Hop videos that I liked. It's in storage. I'm going to have to watch it some time.

i think 90% of gangsta rap has been boring and cliche, rather unimaginative, just sticking to being crude and rude. but there are exceptions in my book...

    UGK (big, big fan)
Eightball & MJG (suave house days were classic, new stuff aint too shabby neither)
Outkast (yes, those dudes... their debut album was gangsta rap, and when they're not being poppy their material is still edgey)
Snoop Doggy Dogg (aren't we glad he shortened his name? lol)
    Jadakiss
    T.I.
    Juvenile
    Scarface (classic)
