Anyone ever heard of or belonged to this organization, that recognizes scholastic achievement on the 2-year level? For a 70-75 dollar acceptance fee upon offer of entry, they seem to have a good hustle going on.:smt079

I'm watching a documentary about for profit schools and the military. I was thinking we need an education section. surprisingly, I found this.

i made it my goal to stay as far away from for-profit schools as I possibly can. so many horror stories are popping out of places like U of Phoenix, Walden U, etc. Since people in the military can be deployed anywhere around the world, schools like these serve as a refuge, because you can complete degrees online. Whether or not those degrees are worth anything, who knows. Personally, I'd think twice about attending a school I could not physically go to on any given day. Some things just go better in person.
