British Parliament could soon have to deal with the reality of a petition by the people to ban Donald Trump from entering the U.K, over violating of the nation’s hate speech laws.

The story broke on the Independent that a petition started by Suzanne Kelly, from Scotland, is currently in the works, and must gather up 100,000 signatures. Once it meets the threshold it will be taken up for debate at the House of Commons.

Kelly had previous issues with Trump, regarding an effort to block a golf course at Scotland’s Menie estate, over environmental issues.

Republicans have a current frontrunner for their presidential nominee, that is so bad one of our closest and oldest allies is looking to ban him from ever entering their realm.

Trump is the best and most popular guy the Republicans can scrounge up. Let’s let that sink in while we all envision a Democratic win in 2016, shall we?

The petition against Trump reads, in part:

The signatories believe Donald J Trump should be banned from UK entry for his continued, unrepentant hate speech and unacceptable behaviour. His unacceptable behaviour is well documented, and we feel it foments racial, religious and nationalistic intolerance which should not be welcome in the UK.

The UK has banned entry to many individuals for hate speech. This same principle should apply to Donald J Trump. We cannot see how the United Kingdom can condone his entry to the country when many people have been barred for less.

But wait, this gets even better. Some Politicians such as Scottish National Party defense head, Brendan O’Hara, are attempting to have Trump’s access to nuclear weapons curtailed ahead of time, if he wins the Republican nomination for the 2016 election.

O’Hara thinks that if worse came to worse, the order to start a nuclear war would ultimately come from an American president. As such he sees Trump as too unstable to be trusted with the launching of nuclear weapons from assets housed in the U.K.

Trump impresses me as downright stupid.

I watch his rally vids because I'm fascinated by the way he casts a spell over his audience by in actuality not saying much at all. Much of the time he sounds like he's drunk, rambling from topic to topic.

Here's a short vid that amused me: a guy holding up a confederate flag at a trump rally gets quietly escorted out. (starts at about 1:54).

I laughed because I'm sure the dude thought he had found a home for his cause, yet he was sent home to cry in his beer. I guess even Trump has his standards...

I'm honestly tempted to register as a republican just so I can vote for trump and watch him make a total fuckin' mess of the country, if not the world.

They say the people get the kind of leadership they deserve, and I think the U.S. deserves Trump at this point.

After 4 years of this guy, I'm sure the electorate will have had just about enough of humoring the "stupids" and letting them be a complete drag on progress. Maybe then we can move forward as a country, in a post-tea party era...

I like some of his politics (eg. getting money of politics), but the dude is just such a "cartoon"... I'm still not sure he honestly really wants to president. This whole thing is probably just a stunt to promote his brand that got out of hand...

The man is an idiot, anybody with room temperature IQ can see that. The Republican Establishment are scared shitless of this clown especially if he keeps the momentum going that will cost them the white house and they know it. It's frustrating when you see right leaning people of this forum remain silent as if they don't know diddly squat about the harm trump can cause to the Party. I am not naming names but there is one lady from Chiraq lol.

Trump sounds like a trailer park resident than billionaire, Americans expect their president to be taller, smarter and believable that is how Obama and Bill Clinton won the white house. Trump is so full of himself he thinks the whole world is madly in love with him what a narcissist kook. One commentator was saying the people who support Donald are those who do not (a) have a college degree (b) are struggling blue color workers (c) are mad at others who are different from them. Honestly there are so many people without college degree who are smart BILL GATES was college dropout

I remember in the mid to late 80's, Donald Trump was everywhere. He was the wealthiest man in America. New York City, Las Vegas, West Palm Beach and Atlantic City had a lot of property with his name on it. He had published a book called Trump: Master of the Game. It became a best seller. Then came Trump: The Game. He was on a lot of the morning, afternoon and evening talk shows. He pretty much challenged those who wanted to succeed. Of course, there was his wife Ivana, whom he had said was the smartest woman he ever knew. Ivana proved that when she got a couple of his hotel/casinos in Atlantic City in the divorce settlement. Then came his brief marriage to model/actress Marla Maples(he cheated on Ivana with Marla while they were married). Back then, Trump seemed like a man on the up and up. He had his opinions and a real estate empire to run. He was a driven man who kept things to himself. He was aware that there were poor people in the world(on the Philippines Donohue show, a young black man asked him for a job, Trump told him to see him after the show). Today, I don't see that man that I admired all those years ago. I used to get invitations to his wealth building seminars. I didn't go to any of them. I still respect him for his accomplishments as a businessman. But as a politician, I have to turn away. Like any person who is running for political office, I won't stand in his way. But I will vote against him if he is the republican nominee.

Have you seen the documentary "You've Been Trumped" which exposed him trying to remove generations of Scottish families from their homes so he could make a golf course?

Because in Scotland there are more important things than making money for business.
Difficult for people like Trump to understand I know.

Free education to Scottish nationals and a reduced rate for european national excluding people from England and Wales:( because those students can't have a discount because they are paying 9.000 annual to prop up Scotland so their money is needed to be so "generous"
