To the OP - I had an ad on here for about a second, until I looked around and found that it wasn't really the type of dating ads I would be interested in. I've tried a few other IR sites. I think it just depends on what you are looking for.

 

Ha, I'd noticed that too but didn't have the cajones to call anyone out.

The personals here can be entertaining to read at times but most members don't appear to be seriously interested in "dating." It doesn't seem like this site is promoted very much as a dating site. Too bad really. Different folks in the forum have periodically expressed an interest in the personals so I'd think there'd be a market for it. Oh well.

Yeah that is true. I was just curious to see if anyone had used the site before. I'm single but it would be kinda strange to meet some of the people from what I have seen. Some people want a relationship and others want a booty call.

 

I happened upon it by mistake really - there was a new member in chat asking about the ads and I was bored so I was helping him find things and I came across that one.

I really think this site could be an awesome site and do MUCH better for those who own it if there were some changes made. At least (as far as I know) they aren't sending out fake "flirts" and putting up fake profiles to get more members like some of the other dating sites do.

 

I posted a profile on the personals section. Who knows maybe I can meet someone special.

 

Notice how many married women are on the personals versus married men? Hm.

 

The fact that a business with integrity typically develops a loyal clientele leads me to believe that the owners must do well enough serving their current customers in the personals section. If that weren't the case, I'd expect they'd market the personals differently. Guess it must work for them. Good for them. Too bad for those looking for a real date.

No I haven't alot of weird looking people. But whenever I want a laugh I check it out. No offense to anyone whose posted a personal.

 

I don't mess around with internet personals period. They are a waste of money. I get ignored enough for free, I'm not about to PAY for the privilege.
